Just an update, applied and was approved online for Additions Card, sent my agreement form in over a week ago, but still not got card through yet. Just phoned customer services and she told me my credit limit is £2000 and I have definitely been approved!!!! :j:j:j just waiting for card now :D

Congrats. Pretty healthy credit limit for you there :)

yes couldn't believe it. A year ago I was happy to get my first card (Vanquis) after been in the credit wilderness for five years (I had lots of defaults from my time with my ex husband). Will need the credit limit as going on holiday soon and need a new wardrobe and using it for my cruise onboard credit account. When I went on my last cruise holiday three years ago, I had to use cash as nobody would give me a credit card at the time!
I am so please as the APR is 19.9% a lot lower than Vanquis and Capital One. I will be getting rid of my Vanquis card before Christmas
Capital One Limit £1600, Accessory Card Limit £2000
Vanquis Limit £1500 Littlewoods Direct Limit £1000
Official SOS Club number 025 - Dry until 29/12/09

Is your credit file clean now then?

Yeah a lot better rate and nicer limit. I know what you mean about 5 years in the wilderness. I have not had a card for years so its great to have one again even with low limits for now.

New wardrobe and a cruise I am very jealous. Room for one more ;p

I have £149 of cash advances on my Vanquis card. I'm starting to realize why they didn't up my limit. £101 available credit, £149 cash withdrawals and fees.
Why are you withdrawing cash on a credit card?

I had to withdraw £20 from my Capital One card when I forgot my debit card. Hope that doesnt stop me from getting my first increase!

Credit file nearly there, just got one more year to wait before late mortgage markers and a couple of other undesirable credit files (late payment markers) drop off- but no defaults on my file at all now. Its been a long wait, but almost there!!. Can't wait for the holiday just got drowned after shopping at Tesco in the deluge of rain

Shouldn't think that would prevent you from getting the first increase on your 4th statement. I had withdrawn cash quite a few times on my cap1, started with a cc limit of 200 with the, which then got increased to 600 on the fourth statement :T
