That is it !! Since they are like almost five years old, it won't affect you with most lenders !!
I tried Halifax in 2006 and they declined me for just having 1 of my credit card almost maxed out , with an otherwise absolutely clean file
Did not ever try halifax again ater that !! Bunch of jokers :rotfl::rotfl:
Also may be their lending criteria have changed after the merger with Lloyds Tsb :j0 -
In the same spirit as Sutton!
Shall I move from Nationwide, whom I have been with for over 10yrs, because they will not upgrade me from a BASIC account and let us not talk about the crappy fees
I now have 2 Credit Card (Vanquis & FlyBe) + 1 Debit Card (A&L)
It would just be great to have a current account with normal facilities like a proper adult! Cheque book, CC or DC and maybe even an overdraft!
I know Lloyds are as difficult as Nationwide and I can't do Natwest as we have a bad history so what other choices do I have?DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

Would say on the contrary Lloyds is not really difficult, unless you have a history of adverse. Even then would suggest apply for the Lloyds full current account (which you would most likely get, looking at the fact that you have 2 CCs and a full account, unless you have had loads of adverse after getting them), and if you then fail their credit check take the cash card account, maintain it well for 3-6 months and Lloyds will themeselves offer to upgrade you to a full account (they follow their own internal behaviour score) with chequebook and visa debit.
P.S. You can even get a cheque Guarantee with them (thogh Lloyds don't issue them standard these days) if you maintain your account well enough again for a few more months after getting the full account.
So definately worth giving Lloyds a shot. Hope this helps
