Your signature shouldn't be days without a search, it should be minutes without a search. :p :rotfl::rotfl:

The default started at £1688 on a £100 limit Halifax card...its now over £2300 and rising....the original £1688 one is till there too

Is this default with Cabot then Brian?

I had 4 defaults from them at one point, one was a double, they never changed it to my new address they just added another.

They're complete idiots. I got the double default removed within 48 hrs.

I'll put 3 month Vanquis and Aqua statements in then. While neither of them where paid off in full (£50-£70 paid off each, per month usually), I guess it shows I'm paying on time.

Just send the top page, not the breakdown that lists your expenditure as it will show cash advances lol. just let them see the credit limit etc on page 1..... :p

  • Thanks for your reply! you do seem to be the man with the answers :D
Have I not done a response for you already - lol, recognise your username!

No but you offered words of encouragement recently - I'm a newbie.

To clarify, there is no debt or entry of debt on any of my CRA files. I did have debt, but nothing since 2003 at the latest, so although I get occasional, speculative letters from DCAs to my address & parents address, they immediately get filed in the bin (after the satisfaction of shredding them) & I have never entered into any communication with them. All I have on my CRA files now is newly-acquired green o's. So I thought I was doing well until I saw my Equifax file.

I have 9 (!!!!) credit searches at current address in Table 1: Credit Searches
I have 5 searches at current address in table 2: Other Searches, including 1 in Jan Unclassified from AktivKrapital Group Uk

Under previous addresses, Table 1: Credit Searches I have 6 searches from 16/11/2007-02/01/09 from AktivKrapital & Crapquest at my parents address - I have not lived there since 2005/6 (came off Electoral Roll in 2003) - (how can they search without my permission/how can Equifax allow these searches under Credit Searches without my permission & under an old address?)
A third linked address is where Ilived in 98 with afore-mentioned ex. I have not listed this address with Equifax, but they have info from Electoral Roll 96-98 with me at that address. Under Table 1: Credit Searches, AktivKrapital & Crapquest are again recorded as searching between 16/11/07 - 18/11/08.

So, as I haven't lived at address 3 in this millennia, how can the DCAs legally search for me at that address? And can they legally search for me when I don't have any debt they can legally collect? Why does Equifax allow this - other 2 CRAs don't have this nonsense on my file!

Thanks so much n-i-d, sorry for lengthy post ;)
