  • Regards to the searches, they will, unfortunately, remain as they stay with the linked address for as long as there is a live account present.!
What do you mean by live account? As in live debt, or registration at Equifax? (Soz for being dumb blonde)
Do you have anything live from that address that you still use - anything at all? you need to break the link and leave 6yrs before it will go forever!
Again, sorry, which address? The only address I use is my current address, been here for 3yrs 4m, all current credit accounts opened from here. Have nothing live from other 2 addresses - first one with ex from the 90s was a rented flat, second address is my parents - (I moved back there to lick my wounds & make voodoo dolls of my ex & the slapper he accidentally slept with...grrrr:mad: not bitter at all) But then first address is well over 6 yrs, 2nd address only 3
A letter to the DCA's will stop them searching you, want me to post one for you?
    Yes please!!!

Cabot and Robinson Way. I paid them in February. I'm unsure when they were added as they were on there when I got my file.

Did you have an account at the linked address and then move it to another address and then close it or is it still live? this is what creates a linked address..... follow me? i.e. I have an account with HSBC and move houses, I complete a change of address form and carry on using hsbc - this creates a linked address until I close that account and move again.
Again, sorry, which address? The only address I use is my current address, been here for 3yrs 4m, all current credit accounts opened from here. so which address is showing as linked address then? there has to be a link! see above!!
    Yes please!!!

I need to know the above before I can do a letter for you lol :rotfl:
