Well it's worth appealing anyway I think, as it was 53 last month. What's the address to appeal?

Your signature shouldn't be days without a search, it should be minutes without a search. :p :rotfl::rotfl:

what? they can't change a default mate or it must be removed for good! You know about defaults right? if it changes and isn;t legally enforceable then get it removed! Can you log-in and get prints of the default changing month by month?
The default started at £1688 on a £100 limit Halifax card...its now over £2300 and rising....the original £1688 one is till there too

Did you send anything with your appeal letter? Guess it's pointless sending pay slips or bank statements, as they see all of that anyway.... maybe a copy of my credit report?

You got it, I sent in loads of credit file related stuff pointing out each entry like P1- was for this reason etc etc.....

Also sent in 3 other CC statements so they could see my £0 balances..... that was it mate.... it is what I put in the letter that done it. I sent in letter and got call next day confirming they had accepted me. was very fast after the 3wk wait for my decline!

mate trust me, it really isn;t worth appealing...... however for a stamp you could do, personally I wouldn't as you need at least 50 behaviour score.......

I'm guessing my BS will go back up into the 50's next month as it seems to have only gone down because I canceled all of my direct debits. I'm hoping by the time they've got round to reading my appeal, my BS would have gone to 50+.

Even if it's unlikely anything will happen, I think for the price of a stamp, it's worth it. :)

Thanks for your help as well. I didn't even think you could appeal HSBC decisions. First Direct said they do not do appeals at all (I think they do really though).

you read about my 1st direct appl didn;t you mate? I appealed......

I did explain the difference, you cannot appeal a credit score decline as it would mean lying about your material facts - you can;t appeal, you must lie lol... i.e. if you only earn £2k per annum, why argue it - you cant appeal saying its gone up to £20k lol

    follow me?

I'll put 3 month Vanquis and Aqua statements in then. While neither of them where paid off in full (£50-£70 paid off each, per month usually), I guess it shows I'm paying on time.
