With regards to my DTD's, this is where something is priced as £1 as an example and you get charged £2, you definitely don't say anything to the til operator or they amend price and you are no better off. You pay, go to customer services and tell them you've been overcharged, their policy is to give you double the difference. So my dinner set was labelled at £25 but scanned at £50. I paid £50, went to CS and got £50 back and still have the dinner set! All of my stores have the scanners around the store so you can check, I generally scan a lot of items to see any inconsistencies. They are mainly yellow tickets with money saving on them, they also sometimes have offer valid until dates...so like the dinner set, the date said 30 June so well out of date and a sure fire win!
The bacon sausage deal is harder because the savings are only deducted at the till. The offer was buy one of each for £3, the offer ended but the stickers weren't removed from the bacon. You paid the individual price then go to Cs to claim the saving, doubled!
Wednesday is best because this is when the weekly offers change.
The 1/2 price offers on hair care and electric shaving finish tonight so if you go nice and early you might be able to get something that the shelf states as half price, but the system charges full, then you get your DTD, that's my plan for the morning!
My best to date was yesterday's episode with the socks, priced at £1.25, I was charged £15 so will eventually get £27.50 back once they stop
messing me around!
Hope that helps! Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.0 -

Thanks think i get it (just) got the whole DTD thing and how you got it, but it's the yellow label thing with the exp date on it, oh and i nearly p***ed myself laughing at the the fact you thought you didn't help ur case much whilst waiting around getting a gordon ramsay set for free, hilarious!!!! and awesome, i am in awe, i would however keep pressing on re the way you've been treated, i also filled out a 'how did we do' thing on their website and ended up getting £10 voucher from cs and £20 from head office because a silly bint refused to take my APG vouchers, and then HO said they didn't accept them so i fired an email back quoting the tesco magazine on their APG acceptance they back down eventually. nothing to do with anything really but thought you'd like to know :j0 -
