Tesco misprices and discussion thread 11

Hi Guys,
I wonder if anyone can help me. I am abit unsure of how the Tesco misprice policy works. At the weekend, I bought 6 folders costing £2.50 each from tesco which had 3 for 2 labels on the boxes. After being charged £15,I took them back to customer services, where the lady was rather rude and said give me your payment card and put a £5 refund on it. According to their DTD policy, should I have been given £10 back? And is it too late to claim this now do you think?
Cheers0 -
Yes
Should been charged £10 not £15 so 2 x £5 = £10 - dtd is stated on the big blue board behind c/s
I doubt u get too much joy now, unless u have the reciept that has not been marked, take it in again on anotrher shift or 2 another store and get dtd backSIMPLES!0 -

No, it is not too late.
Try as suggested above by sinw, regardless of whether or not receipt is marked. Mr T will have Moneycard issue records, so it can be traced. Further, refunds should always be made using same method as that in which payment was tendered i.e. cash, bank card, credit card, CC+ - if no joy, just ring HO Freephone 0800-505555.
Stand your ground with polite insistence, pointing to the Big Blue Board sentence that begins 'In the unlikely event that things don't add up...':rotfl: and let us know what happens.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Cathedral City Mature Cheddar, 400g, £3.99, BOGOF on OOD SEL (16.11.10). Went to get some cheese at 1am on the 17th. Normally prices are updated about 2/3 in the morning so was sure this was going to go through BOGOF. Didnt, but at that time it is shelf stackers and self scan staff so no chance of refunds.
Went and took picture of the SEL for backup.
Went round to the other 24hr store and same thing there.
Went back to first store in the morning and the SELs were still there. Straight forward DTD with no problem. FREE CHEESE!!
Went to the second store and SEL had gone. Went to CS and said "I was in last night and the BOGOF didnt work. Self scan supervisor told me to come back in the morning to see customer services. Label now gone, as I thought it would have done, but I took a picture last night of the label to prove it was there. CSA looked at picture on phone and promptly issued DTD without quibble. FREE CHEESE - again.I miss too many pages due to work so if you need an answer from me, please send me a PM.

TDK CD-Rs in a 25 spindle.
Reduced to £2.99, but scans at £3.99.

Hompride pasta bake. SEL says BOGOF on some but definately says cook in AND pasta bake. None of the pasta bake ones are in the offer so it's £1.42 a jar BOGOF. It doesn't come up BOGOF, a quick trip to customer services gets you double the difference so you get it all free.
I now have 75 jars from 4 different stores around halifax. You do have to point this (the fact that it says pasta bake) so only for the Savy hunters.
Good luck! :jI am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.
