So you bought 2 items you were expecting to pay £1 for. You paid £2 for them. You should have got £2 back. Yes, grumpy CS can be a pain, and I agree you have to weigh up the queue size and time spent getting DtD, but remember it was the special offer that encouraged you to buy in the first place!
EXACTLY.
Tesco CS really are the pits (some of them! - I know others are lovely).

Just got back from Tesco. I bought some Peppa Pig pyjamas in the sale, original price £7 but reduction sticker said £5, I checked my receipt and they charged me £6 so I took them to the CS desk, the lady called someone from clothing dept and informed her of the error. She was really apologetic and said because it's their mistake they will give me double the difference.
Had it not been for this site I wouldn't even check my receipt, let alone go to the CS desk for the sake of being over charged by £1.
My husband wasn't impressed with me, he said it's only £1 but I said noooo you get DtD:rotfl:

Current offer....5 tins of Heinz Classic soups for £3.
All rung through the checkout at full price!
Checked with CS who confirmed I was right and refunded the difference.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
