evening all, hope you all had a little sunshine in your day!

made cakes and two crumbles this am to go in freezer, and got the grass cut,including those [horrible] grass paths, must say the estate looks pretty neat now.cant see the bottom half as its behind tall fence

sowed some butternut squash and courgette, and will be eating the broad bean tops at the w/end,got teeny broad beans, hooray!

tea is salad,lettuce from grnhse,hm bread, ham from bacon hock,soup tomorrow from bones

i`ve been missing for a couple of days as life has been a bit hectic but have been trying to keep up

I too think that our BG`s do a great job which is often unappreciated by many - hell this place wouldn`t be here without them!
I`ve not seen the offending thread and i don`t want to, frankly i can`t be bothered withany of the nastiness that rears it`s ugly head in many of the other boards so i stay well away. Here is nice and friendly and i love it.:D Thanks to everyone for just being you!

Csarina & Tired Mum - If we all had the same opinions this planet would be a boring place. I`m sure that we can all agree to disagree ((((HUGS)))) to you both.

MSD - I make your Aunt Sallys apple cake regularly - it`s a firm favourite of ours.

Thank you so much to everyone for your support. As you know, I'm usually pretty upbeat, so you can see how much the Bash a Board Guide thread got to me, combined with other things going on at the mo (we had our first big teenage strop last night, and DD is still cross with me and DH I may post a thread on the Families Board tomorrow, as I'm interested in the views of others).

Your support is really appreciated :A:A:A and I hope to be back to my usual chipper self soon

I have just read the thread :mad: i think you board guides do a great job so dont let anyone tell you otherwise.
Cant help with the teen thing as DD1 is nearly 16 and we are the most unfair parents everas we wont let her drink alcohol as all her friends do just not her. :eek:
