    Morning All  :hello:

Head flying round woke up at 6am. Really struggling with the cold since we came back. Layering up as if it was middle of winter, but still resisting putting CH on. Must go and do something physical in a mo to warm up, if nothing obvious will put wii fit on. Off to the red rose county this p.m. Reunion tomorrow, and then off for weekend after seeing GP to see what he says re the Spanish medication (probably too dear for NICE) on Friday. Will chill out then.

OS wise WM on, enough bread for the mo, will maybe do some ironing as the warm up exercise, only a little of it though. Sun's out here and it will get into thte lounge soon.

:grouphug: Pen-Pen, and anyone else not up to scratch, feeling sad, or would just like one. :grouphug:

    Morning all,

(((hug))) for pen-pen and anyone else that would like one :)

Katie - well done for being so brave :)

Late in last night after a fight with my machine and drinks with OH's group and the guy who giving a lecture at work today (starts at 6pm :( ). We have another speaker coming in my other department in the morning - someone I used to work with, so it's a day of seminars and handshaking for me; hence I am in early to get the work done beforehand :) OH is out for dinner tonight (his group will take the speaker out to dinner tonight as is customary), so I will be late home too as I will wait here until he's done. Going to be a long one :)

Right - back to my morning machine cleaning ritual :)

Absolutley no OS to report as I can't remeber what my flat looks like. I am sure it is there under all the paper somewhere :)

    Morning all.
Lovely and sunny here which is nice. Always makes me feel better, especially since I seem to be permamently tired with kids at the mo!!!
however took advantage of a little bit of energy this morning and have already hung out a load of washing, put another load on, put my pork joint in the SC and cleaned a very large venetian blind (with hot water and bicarb of course!). I have a smaller one to do but it's over my sink and I need more time and happy kids to do it! I feel like I've done a days work already.
I have completely neglected any housework since last week. I think I am naturally lazy and despite my best Flylady attempts it's just not something I can get worked up to doing. So given that I am feeling pretty proud of what I've done this morning and as such I have treated myself to a little 'puter time whilst I scoff my breakfast and coffee!
Off out to George at Asda to try and get some cheap trousers for my DD and some summer tops for me. BUT don't want to spend much so will have to see how that plan works out!
Have a good day everyone and a hug to every else that needs it.
I need to go and have a lie down - feel exhausted already LOL!

Penelope Penguin - lots and lots and lots of hugs.

Salopman - DF went home on Monday evening. LB has been quite lost without his main accomplice. Also DF could always be guaranteed to slip LB an extra bit of chocolate, piece of bacon butty, drink of tea () and anything else that LB wanted. Any time I mentioned anything, DF would be saying, 'he's only a baby yet, nothing wrong with him....' and fill in the blanks with everything from not speaking properly to playing with DF's satnav!

DF is not as well as he is telling me. He didn't finish a bottle of whisky, even though there was football on while he was here. He was looking very flushed at times and tired. I am really worried. I am going to try and persuade him to come and stay here for longer, although he struggles with the stairs here. Another reason to move as soon as all the dratted things have settled down.

Little bear is still teething. He is chewing away at everything he can get his teeth on, and he is just that bit out of sorts. At the moment his bottom is not a cause for concern, but I expect a flare up soon - thank goodness for that Metanium!

For me, my glands are up, my bones ache and I feel completely fed up. It is not swine flu, but just yet another low grade virus. When all the worry about swine flu settles down I will see my GP and see if there is a reason why I am going down with bug after bug after bug. I would feel embarrassed going now, with something relatively unimportant when lots of people are vulnerable or ill.

OS - well, not a lot. I have a delivery from Mr S due, and I am still catching up on washing, and ironing, and it is still like Widow Twanky's. Tonight I am planning a chilli with baked potatoes. I have a quantity of eggs that need using up, so I may try and bake. It will be a very non OS one thing at a time :o also scrambled eggs for little bear and I for lunch. I shall also knit.

Also I didn't get the paints out for LB yesterday, so they are definitely coming out today.

Christabell - not only does cleaning never stop, in this house it rarely starts :o

Betheebee - it sounds like you gave your DB a perfect time. Being able to relax and eat well with good home made stuff will have made him feel much better, and will have done him lots of good.

Moggins - happy birthday, and I hope that you are okay.

    Hugs to all.
