    Hi Becky

I am counting the days till July 1st when i can officially order my i10:j - as for your finance - shop around i know you can find a better deal out there! (try this website for loan ideas;)) - the only problem with car finance can be the 'final payment' so watch out for this!

    Regards
    Dol:cheesy:

Thanks dolphin enjoy your new car - when it arrives!

    Chrysler Sebring

It's little surprise that three-quarters of all Sebrings are diesel. The 2.0-litre CRD engine is actually a Volkswagen unit (used in the Golf and Passat among others) with 140bhp. It's fairly noisy, especially on start-up, but does offer strong in-gear performance.

The steering felt light at low speeds but more solid when I went on the duel carrageway - I think powersteering is a luxary after my current car!
It's costing £6500 + £350 for metalic paint. I'm due to get it at the end of july. I drove the twingo and the dealer mentioned the clio deal and I had a drive and was sold!

That's exactly how electric power steering is designed, so give more assist at lower speeds (as it's computer controlled). Much better than hydraulic power steering, & more fuel efficient.

I've been after the basic version of the Nissan Pixo, none of the dealers can get them.So I went to look at the Suzuki Alto (same car different badge) basic model not available there either I was told I could have the SZ3 Alto which is the basic model plus air con and metallic paint for £900 more than the basic. And that price will rise by £500 next month.

Well after over 3 weeks, I've finally received my tax refund from the DVLA. Can't see why it should take that long though.

ordered my picanto on 23rd of may priced at 4495, two days earlier it was 4195! oh well best not to dwell on that, have heard of people ordering at the cheaper price being phoned up by the dealer to be told it would now cost them more despite i assume having signed a contract. what worries me is my car isn't expected until late august possibly September, today i received a brochure from kia promoting the scrappage scheme stating prices valid untill 31st july i have my paper work with 4495 on it but does this actually mean anything if not i'm stuffed!

The problem with this car is that the emissions is high therefore the tax will be high too. See calculator below:

I would say 'medium'. Cars that come in under the £120 p.a. limit that are also capable of managing a quiet long distance cruise with luggage etc are very few and far between (suggestions, anyone?). When and if technology improves so that cars for most peoples needs come in at £35 tac p.a., rest assured that the govt will ramp up the road tax agian to restore the income it takes for granted.

I dont think less than a hundred quid a year on tax will make any difference to the majority of people :)
