Talking about the June challenge - my month runs the 18th to 18 each month to coincide with oayday - shouod I switch to the new thread when it starts or keep posting in this one, and then join the June one after the 18th June?
You're best to switch to the new thread when it appears (could be today), as people will stop watching this one a couple of days into June (after we've all moved on to our June budgets).

Hi have had a bad month. Budget was going well until third weeek in.
Needed lots of comfort food as i was informed that my job is made redundant. So this month's total is £185.46 spent.

Mrs M please put me down for £175 for June. Thanks.

... I'll be back on form when I'm not learning all about leptin receptor's modulation of the t cell response during atherosclerosis
    ...

absolutely riveting stuff! :D good luck with the exam! just looked at the date of your post - its probably all over now, but good luck anyway!

I'm just updating the recipe list, and will carry any new ones I find over to the June challenge.

I haven't added up anything that I've spent this month, but been very little so I must be still way under budget; I'm simplifying my store cupboard and using up quite a bit.

see you all on the June thread! ;)

    Congrats to rachelmk, well done!!!

sashanut, hope you're feeling better soon

    Congrats to boodle

Thank you to all you lovely well-wishers :)
hi...congratulations boodle...was it a pink or a blue boodleite ?? i hope u are both well and thriving...im impressed u are on here so soon after

Tis a lil pink Boodleite, and very delish she is too :D Everything is going fairly smoothly and happily so far so have nipped on here a couple of times during the lulls - gotta keep up with the grocery planning and shopping otherwise it would drive me mad not knowing what I was going to make for dinner every night or not being able to find anything to munch in times of snack-attacks, etc! DH and eldest DD are out shopping now as we type ;)
Love and compassion to all x

Declaring at £158.88 :T:T:T- well under budget so pretty pleased with myself! Spent another £9.50 in Aldi and Lidl on fruit & vegs and some cleaning stuff, since last weekend and still have quite a few meals in the freezer to last us until we go on hols a week today so hoping the June budget of £100 will see us through when we get back.

Will be bringing home lots of lovely Greek treats (out of holiday budget of course) like olive oil, olives, herbs and ouzo!

Make sure you're allowed to bring them into the country before stocking up - they're getting much stricter about the regulations on carrying through foodstuffs, to the point I've even seen adverts about it on the TV this year!!
