    Morning all.
    Weather looking a bit grim this morning. I hope it picks up. DS has got used to the lovely weather last week and just wants to play outside in the garden ALL the time LOL.
    Got to go out and have a nosy at my seedlings today. Didn't get chance yesterday and I do love looking at what I am growing!
    Haven't got a clue what to cook for tea tonight. My meal planning seems to have gone out of the window. DH is playing football tonight so I might just defrost something out of the freezer - have some left over chili lurking in there. Not my favourite meal but it needs using up.
    Shopping budget gone to pot as my H went to supermarket last night. He probably spend about £10 but I am trying to keep costs low by not buying stuff we can live without and he goes and buys some smoothie drinks for DS. I know he means well but this is the first month I am not bringing in a wage and I wanted to see how we manage.
    Got some more flyers printed for my childminding services - delivered a load yesterday so if I get chance will do some more today.
    Have a good day everyone. Hope the weather picks up soon!

    Good footie news N9aev! I'm still celebrating the Mighty Bees promotion.
    Hilstep - how lovely!

    Grabbing a quick coffee while my hair dries enough to straighten - dunno why i bother as its raining outside but still.
    I've started the horrid job of clearing out my desk, two pedestals, tray and under my desk rubbish - i've been there nearly 10 years and have accumulated a lot of junk it seems. Judge yesterday made me cry in court - he's lovely and it was the last time we'll work together.

    Fish and chips for work lunch today and then will have to pick up something for tea on way home - that's if the Child Pittance went in.

    have good days all
    I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Morning All

    Better post now as doubt will have time later. Car decided on, then had nice meal and meet up with friends we made while caravanning in France 8 years ago. They are in Preston so a fair journey to meet up, and this way we avoided the rush hour traffic on the M62.

    Told DH that is his birthday present (he will be 60 in August), any other may be "A la Hester". :wink:

    Today is to organise and then a trip to Cheltenham & back to swop cars with DS. Need to time our journey to avoid peak times on M42/M6 and meet up with DS after he finished work. See if we can find a reasonable carvery near him.

    We have to be back for 9pm and The Apprentice

    OS - errrr - if I find the chance.

    (((Hugs))) :grouphug: , Welcome :hello:, Hi There :wave: as wanted/needed.
    DG

    Hiya Donny Gal there is 2 carvery's near cheltenham both Toby Carveries, one is miles better than the other one. The fabby one is the Highnam Carvery if you follow signs to the Forest of Dean and Newent you cannot miss it, the carvery is on the right hand side next to a fab farm shop too. The Brockworth one which is 5 mins from the motorway is slightly less nice..

    I am good OH and me are ticking along nicely we wont see each other until Saturday when we will spend the night with each other. I might see him tomorrow if he comes here on his way home from work. Not alot else I need to really tidy my house and clean my display cabinet any O/S tips for glass or a really good window cleaning stuff.
    I had my first Ann Summers Party last night as a sales rep and it was fab :D:j those smilies do not describe how I felt after it..
    And I am no longer going to cover my scar on my face, why should I hide what happened.. It was watching the apprentice that I had my LBM on my scar look carefully at Yasmina she has a huge scar and she is successful and confident so why cant I be, Joe does not love me any less so why should I worry.

  • Morning guys!!

    Checking in for my weekly post!

    Hope everyone is having a good week? Keeping up the oldstyling!

    Lots going on this week, as we are on holiday next week. Off to Butlins for a week, using the free holiday we got when we signed up for our time share. We are taking some friends, so there are 10 of us in total. It is also my birthday whilst we are away, so am sure we will be celebrating in one way or another ;)

    Weigh in today, and have lost another pound, but I expect that will be put back on plus more next week, when I hit the half board breakfast / dinner buffet! :rotfl:

    Staying in today to wait for a delivery, so lots of chores and housey bits to do, whilst I wait....

    * Alter DS1 beaver uniform as it is still too big
    * Dust around house
    * Clean out car
    * Recycling
    * Roast for dinner
    * Clean out fish
    * Clean hamster
    * Work my way through pile of washing
    * Mop hallway / bathroom
    * Sort paperwork

    That's the list to start with, am sure I will think of more to add to it as I go along!

    Bye for now!

  • Morning Guys!

    Thanks for all the lovely messages:D Yesterday was awful, so glad its over and done with until next week, although I have another hospital visit (local though) later this week. The nurse has been and gone and is coming back later this evening to check on me.

    OH cooked the lamb meatballs last night but the sauce he used (Ragu) was very rich and quite salty, so I couldnt eat much. I wasnt too hungry anyway, but he is a sweety! He popped to Sainsburys to see if there were any reductions but there wasnt much. He did get some Cod in parsley sauce (frozen x 4) reduced to £1.99 as these make great pies.

    WM is on atm and DD emptied the DW before school. We are having Sausage, mash, cabbage, peas and onion gravy for dinner tonight. Have got out 2 spuds for lunch as we have cottage cheese needing using and some ham and salad.

    OH is weeding again as they have come up thick and fast.

    Anyway, I'm going to go as energy levels falling.

    Take care everyone. Your all special.

    PP
