apologies, i did mean per week. My error, still it could be considered high at £60 for 2 children. It is over a year since we were br so also increases are bound to have taken place since.
I know tell me about it everything has gone up so much in past year I think that is why I am BR:)Waiting for defaults to start self managed DMP0 -

I know silly me thought it was fine until the great advice I got on here so I have to query it:TWaiting for defaults to start self managed DMP0 -

Yep!
But as I said we are purely conjecturing at the moment, let's wait and see what the OR says. Will be really interesting for us that help with SOAs as well.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. It won't be to late to change it later. If the OP's circumstances change at any point during an IPA then he can inform the trustee and the IPA can be altered to suit the new circumstances. It can even be suspended if needs be, the suspended months count towards the 36 months.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I am hoping they will provide a breakdown on the Email tomorrow, I hope they don't call me at work - this is what I said on the Email;

Dear xxxx,
I received a copy of my IPA yesterday in the post and am asking if it would be possible if you could advise me a breakdown of what was allowed on my SOA as I didn't have a Telephone Interview? Could you advise if my son's Disability Living Allowance and Child Benefit was taken into account when working out my IPA payment?
I called the office at 5:15pm today (after work as difficult to talk) but nobody could advise me.
Appreciate your help on this matter before I send IPA Agreement back.
Yours Faithfully,

Does that look Ok?
Yes, if they read it properly, as i said try not to worry, you have a right to know how they have reached that amount, it does cloud the issue when DLA for a sibling or non BR partner is involved, so its worth making sure that any surplus from that has not been included, as it looks as if it may have been, but until we see the figures we wont know.
They have plenty of time to 'discuss' any IPA, so dont let them presure you in any way;)Thats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

Thanks you have been a great help I don't know what I would do if I didn't have this site:TWaiting for defaults to start self managed DMP0 -
Hi All,
OR came back to me today and everything was allowed from my SOA except Clothing cut back by £4 and Gas and Elec by a whopping £68 but I can live with that as they allowed everything else and let me keep the car.
However they did count my sons DLA and CB when calculating IPA of £173 so I am now going back to them with the following Email so your opinions much appreciated:)

Dear xxxx,
Many thanks for sending the Income Payment Calculator as attached, before I sign the IPA Agreement I just have a couple of questions to ask.
1/ When taking advice from CCCS I had been advised that Child Benefit £132.80 and my Son's Disability Living Allowance £336.20 was not taken into account as the CB but it seems that on the attached sheet that both have been taken into account when making the Calculation, is this correct? It does say on the Excel sheet that Child Benefit is definately not meant to be included but it has been used when making your calculation.
2/ Should I wait for you to re-calculate my IPA before I send back the signed forms?
On my calculations the figures should be approximately as follows;
Your Figures
Income - £2822
Expenditure - £2533
Surplus £289 so 60% = £173 payment
My figures minus £132.80 Child Benefit
Income - £2689.20
Expenditure - £2533
Surplus £157 so 50% = £79 payment
Finally if my son's DLA is not taken into account figures would be as follows;
Income - £2353
Expenditure - £2533
Deficit - £180 so £0 Payment
I would appreciate if you could advise me which of the above is correct and if necessary to send me the amended paperwork.
Yours Sincerely,

Does that look OK? Even if she insists that the DLA must be taken into account at least the IPA would go down by £100 so that would make a huge difference to me but I am hoping the DLA is also not taken into account.
Thanks to everyone as I would not even have questioned had I not gone on this forum - you lot are TOP PEOPLE:T

please, please, please let us know if they change their mind on the DLA issue. I am still debating if I should try and claim for my little boy, but if it would cause me to get an IPA it would actually make our situation worse.
Best of luck, your letter sounds good!0 -

I know, I still don't know as on the IPA Excel Sheet there was a note (NB Child Benefit should not be taken into account) - it clearly has but no note like that about DLA..... I will definately keep you posted as I know how important it is to you... xWaiting for defaults to start self managed DMP0 -
I wonder how many other people have had IPA calculated where they used the CB.
Good luck and let us know what they have to say!0
