I have dropped ds1 of at the garage 8 miles away as he has a week's work experience and it could lead to an apprenticeship for him ,there is another lad there for a week next week then we will find out.
Today I will be doing only what I have to as I have caught yet another nasty virus and feel rough
not sure whats for dinner but there is plenty in the freezer so will go from there
    have a good day all

now then ladies - ladies ha!

Raining here which hopefully means that i get an evening off from decanting washing up water in to a watering can for the veg babies. dd neglected them a bit while i was away and they are all sulking :(

Off to w*rk in a bit and will while away my time in court trying to think of something interesting to do with brocoli and garlicy cheese - that's all that's in the fridge as i have squandered all the housekeeping on fancy weekends away - luckily child pittance from mr caring sharing goes in tomorrow - prob pasta sauce. Ho hum am rambling when i should be cycling to w*rk - have good days all and the best of luck for those going to the hospital today

    Morning Everyone

Crikey you lot are up and about early

Its piddling it down here and according to the weather forecast it will be all day.So indoor play planned for today.Asda delivery due later and he dreaded putting it away.I hate putting shopping away

Yoghurt maker has been on all night so that needs putting on to drain. Not much point in doing too much washing as its raining but will do a load of towels as they can be tumble dried.I've got the bedrooms to tidy, dust and vacuum later and I've my wii fit to do.I've lost 3lbs this week so the diet must be paying off.I'm thinking fish for tea with parsley sauce.OH and I cant have the potatoes but I have some left over new potatoes so the kids can have them and we'll all have veg.Yoghurt and Strawberries for pud.The Kids can have ice cream with theirs if they want

(((((((((Hugs))))))))))) to anyone who needs them

A miserable day here, but the garden could do with the rain. Lots of little jobs to get done today, including getting some shopping, the library and maybe a charity shop browse. I could do with some books to take into hospital with me. DS2 goes in on Weds and has an op on the Thursday. I'm dreading it, but they have said that I can stay with him for the week, hence lots of jobs to do before we go. But since he now has a runny nose we have to see whether they will do it or postpone it.

    Morning Chums,
rain hasn't arrived yet but there is a nasty cloud on the horizon. My DGS isdoing his first day at work experience up in London today, bless him it only seems like five minutes ago I was changing his nappies. He leaves college next month, today he has got two weeks as a 'runner' in a media firm in the city.he get £4.00 a day meal allowance and a small amount towards his train fare. Good old Mum & Dad are helping with the rest as its about £24.00 a day into town from here. But he's hoping its more to go on his CV and thats the important bit .he wants to go into film or t.v. production which is apparently quite difficult to get into. he would love to go to Film School in London but the fees are just too high. But he said if he can get a job in the industry, and save enough he could take a year off to do the course.he's very focussed on what he wants to do which is good. he's left his car on my drive as I live near to the station to save himself a few quid a day in parking so I shall see how he got on tonight when he gets home.
I am going to have a lazy day today and just potter as last week was quite hectic.I need to check out my freezer to see whats available and re-do my printed list that I keep stuck on the front. I have no shopping to get this week at all as I went on Saturday afternoon to stock up on fresh stuff. I will probably start my spring cleaning this week as the house needs a good 'bottoming out' as my Mum used to say.Hope you all have a good week Holiday is over so now its back to normality and sorting out the finances for July when i am on the trot again, this time to Amsterdam with DD to see her beloved U2. So it's back to budget for the next two months .
<<hugs to those who feel down or blue>> and good luck to any who have the dreaded hospital this week.My next appointment isn't until June when it will be a follow up with the surgeon from my mastectomy, also a check up with the oncologist .Fingers crossed, it will be the first year of remission
have a great day everyone, even though it may rain.

Morning all...............((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) if you need one))))))))))))))))))

Nice steady rain here this morning, nice for the plants that is, not for me, I am waiting for the postman to see if he brings OH's CSP statement, then off the beard the lion in his lair (housing benefit) I need to sort it out otherwise we are really going to be in queer street. My CSP statement has had to go back, so they will get that later.....its only a small amount we will have to pay back when it does finally surface.

I am going to tackle the middle part of the bedroom window whist I wait. We had to leave it last week, the sun beating in gave me a headache.

DSIL emptied their fridge last night and I brought it all back with me.........I can see now why the grocery bill is so high.......me thinks she needs some MS lessons..........they should be in the air now, not heard anything to the contrary so can only assume they are on their way to Mexico, none of them seemed bothered about the flu bug that they have there.............

Chicken salad for supper, with banana fritters I think, brought 3 bananas from DD1's they need using up, ming you I could bake them in their skins in the remoska......hhhhhhmmmmmmm...............
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

    Morning all,

Nice and sunny here this morning, we had the rain in the night, are promised more so may not hang bedlinen out when it is all washed. Need to do a spit and polish on the downstairs guest room as well, en suite is full of cobwebs!

We are all delighted with kittens...will post a picture when someone does it for me...they have been christened Thunder and Sheila by DGS2 and are very playful little things...nice to have animals in the house again.

I am having the rest of yesterday's risotto for dinner, everyone else is having lamb burgers that OH found at 8 for €2 yesterday....sometimes he uses his brain. Have lots of spinach to use up so that will be veg I think. Pudding will be rhubarb and custard or ice-cream.

PenPin and Christabel....hope that hospital visits are as painless as possible.

Hugs to all in need or want

    Marie
