I'm glad you're trying to see the funny side of it! Can I suggest sealing your breakfast in a plastic bag with a strip of tamper-evident tape across the seal?0 -

Well the best made plans have gone to pot! I managed to get my mealplans done before I went and made the shopping list, intending to go to the market etc after I'd done a workout, but this is what happened instead:
I managed to get to the gym just in time, despite the efforts of the driver in front of me who didn't know how to indicate or how to drive faster than 5mph. Had my health check - good news is that my blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol are all fine, but I need to drink more water and also to increase my cardiovascular exercise as I'm slightly unfit according to the tests. Full of enthusiasm and determination, I rushed down the stairs to put my printed report in my locker, and managed to hit both my leg and my elbow on the metal bannister with such force, that half the cafe area heard the bang, resulting in me asking for an ice pack, and sitting there feeling very foolish for the next 15 minutes, and then having to get home. It's going to be a whopper of a bruise on my thigh as it's so painful to walk on, that I am limping - driving was agony! Have put some arnica on now that I'm home, and hopefully that'll help.
Sorry for the rant, just feeling a bit sorry for myself.
On the flying front, I've managed to put a load of washing in the machine as we've got lots of sunshine, so I'm determined to make the best of it whilst it lasts by hanging it out.
I'm going to do a HHC 1.30-2 if anyone wants to join me, although I'll be taking things slowly?

Police man wants to take a look at DS2s teeth!! There are 3 chipped and he never complianed until he cried one night and said I cant take the pain anymore mum:( so off to the dentist who said that it was definetly caused by severe trauma......and he has xrays of what ds2s teeth were like 4 weeks proir to the incident!!!!
Have a good day all xx
Hope everything is OK MOF77 - I must have missed what happened, but it must have been traumatic that it has chipped his teeth, bless him for not mentioning it - hope they can stop the pain for him... and good on the Policeman - some people just don't know how to set rules for their kids do they?
I loved 'Muffingate', was busting up....:rotfl:
Thanks for your thoughts on my cheque everyone - can't wait to pay off those blooming 48% interest cards - it will be great!
DD now home  - have sorted her banking out - why do the younger generation not use online banking? why do they think a hole in the wall will tell them everything? anyway, she is now sorted and we are about to go round my Mums to get the rest of her stuff - that will be fun! NOT! I hate upsetting my Mum, but at least this will get it over with. Kids eh, who'd have 'em?
