Morning all
Can't believe I'm first up - I've actually been up for half an hour already! I went to bed early (for me) last night, out all day today, helping with girls' brigade camp for the day. I need to set off at about 8am to drive down there, then I'm leading their morning workshop (just finishing prep) and helping to take them out for the day to a castle. Wasn't looking forward to it as v tired but it's better for me than sitting in all day whilst DH studies.
Need to get back on the flying tomorrow, started the week well then nothing much since Tues. Shouldn't be too hard to get on top of it though.
Hope all are well, I've no hope of catching up I don't think. toots you must've finished your treatment now - how are you?Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Morning Rach
I'm up. Just been catching up. Enjoy your day at the castle!
We have lovely weather here this morning. Not sure what I'm going to do today - I do need to get some food in but that's all that's planned. I may just sit in the garden and work on the book...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Morning all!
I was up at 5 for some bizarre reason, caught up with the thread and then discovered the fab chinese food thread! I love chinese! So had a read of that until 6 then I was tired again and went back to sleep - thankfully!
I dont want to get up now....i hate having broken sleep, but then again, its better than none. Little one has football this morning so must get up. May go swimming after........ will wait and see.
To keep you all up to date....got a drunken text from Ex-Mr Jo last night telling me he was sorry about earlier (to my old phone). I replied saying *clears throat*
"You had the chance to be with me and you blew it. There's no need to keep calling or asking how I am, just so you have an excuse to talk to me. Im good! In fact, Im really good. Better than Ive been for a long time. You dont need to worry about me anymore. Take care."
Go me.
Nice, dignified and to the point I thought!
Going for a shower - my legs hurt after bodypump yesterday....:rotfl:
love n hugs to all especially Toots and Natty xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

ooh Jo good for you for standing up to him...and now make him pig sick (sorry not a flu joke) when he seeds the new, svelte, in control person you are...how pathetic - and she can't be much better clinging on to him. How sad.
he sounds completely spineless IMHO.
I agree, although reading down further, sounds like he's still not sure if he's done the right thing? I think you have though, at least now, no matter what happens, he has to decide eh!...
Flower since you're around - is there a product you can paint on a wall over paint to stop THAT colour (yellow but I can't remember who was having the problem yesterday) so you can paint a fresh colour over it?
Have looked - it was Poohbear yesterday
Ha, sorry Valli, was around but pooped and fell asleep...(I'm in the old age sleeping patterns group I think
)
You can use Zinzer on most stuff and is ideal as a stain blocker - basically anything oil based will stop another colour seeping through usually but you can't always paint a water based paint over the top. (can you tell I love this stuff) Here is the oil based (shellac) one (Zinzer BIN) and the water based one is here (Zinzer 123) which would be great for the painted walls so you can re-emulsion, but, although brilliant, is not as good as the oil based for stain blocking if you have really bad marks on the walls, etc.
Oh, just to add - the links are to the Zinzer website so you can read what they're about. But this is US based, so if you google you can buy online over here.
I would recommend anyone with a problem like this and they're not sure what to do to go into a decorator centre (Dulux, Leyland, etc are good) and speak to the guy (or girl) on the counter, they are really helpful and know what they're talking about and can tell you the best stuff to get PLUS they're not condesending or embarrasing, which is why a lot of people won't go usually.LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
