I'm now off for a whole week :j:j... as they're moving while i'm on leave, I will have to make sure I go to the right office when I go back
I plan to spend this weekend and next week:
a. getting the house clean & tidy
b. getting my CV sorted and contacting headhunters
c. going to the gym/swimming to try to get back to losing weight
I'm probably going to have to do a car boot on Sunday, as a friend is desparate to goand it will be a good opportunity to get rid of stuff, but I really wanted to have a quiet weekend and catch up on sleep!
Jo - I've been in a similar situation. My ex was separated and going through a divorce when I met him. It seemed to take an incredible length of time for them to get divorced (I realise that this isn't that unusual!), and I never really felt that our relationship was completely out in the open (I think he felt he had to keep it low key because of the divorce), and there was always a bit of me that felt that if I didn't know where he was, he might be with his ex. It was probably paranoia, as generally he was working somewhere, but given the emotional baggage involved, I've come to the conclusion that its safest to stick with 100% single men, eiher never married or completely through the divorce... Ironically our relationship finally came to an end at about the same time as his divorce was finalised!0 -

I split from OH in the April 2004 and we were divorced in the November...
so it CAN be done quickly even with kids.
Mind you the finances were not sorted until Jan 2008 - simply because of the situation were were in. I paid him his final installment last month
and I hope he enjoys his bl00dy cruise...
Personally I think he should offer to take the kids away - cos he hasn't yet! In 5 years.
He took 'em, to Skeggy for the day once though..and brought DD back burnt to a crisp!

I keep looking at my lists and wondering if I can get another star before bed. I think not, so will wait til tomorrow. I think i can get two more this week. It will be a record, the most I've ever got in one week is 2!
Kaz, I'm only kidding about the wine. Nothing wrong with enjoying yourself, glad you had a lovely evening.
Jo, you are right, never take him back, but would be great if he wanted you back and you said no!
Greenbee, you have a good policy. Makes life much easier if they are single!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

ggrrrrhhh I just lost a post - it was my own fault as I am tired and not thinking properly - trouble is I cant remember what I was saying on it:rolleyes::rolleyes:Yes this is my masterplan......not because i really care what he thinks, but you always feel better when you bump into your ex when you look good!
No he hasnt deleted my number, but I have got a new phone with a new number and he doesnt know what that is. The calls are from a witheld number, which my house phone does.
He admitted it was just an excuse to call. Its clearly bothering him that Im not calling and ringing him......thats what he is used to.
Purlease!
My friend is coming round tomorrow night for a girly, pamper-ourselves evening, so will wash him out then! :rotfl:
Ohhhh i feel much better xx
kazm that looks like it was great wine!!!!:rotfl:
Dusty the sale has been postponed until later in the month but at least the stuff is out of the house. I plan a quiet morning and then I am visiting NOF in the afternnon.
Ok my lovely friends I will have to abandon you and go to bed - oops have an email to do first.
Hugs to everyone as I am sure I must have missed somebody
see you all tomorrow

Unfortunately I found out the hard way  logic always seems to fall by the wayside when you meet someone new - somehow you think that this time it will be different, or that this one has a good excuse... nothing really changes...0
