This evening, about an hour ago, I harvested my first home grown radish! I picked it, washed it and ate it nude - all on its own. It was divine! Just like radishes used to taste - peppery and lush.
OMG I've heard of getting back to nature but harvesting radishes Au Naturel..hope no one was looking...or did you just get undressed to eat it?;)

To quote Toots I am puggled, also 5 stars for me please, I have also done lots of extras that I have been meaning to do for weeks, didnt manage the garden or any study but that will take priority over the weekend.

Very jealous of all those who have had sun and washing outside, its rained more or less all day and the forcast is more of the same for tomorrow.

soappie jealous of you as well you cant beat a fresh radish, mine are still very much seedlings but allready looking forward to them in a few weeks time.

On the Biggest Loser some people lost over a stone in one week! But they were exercising non stop for the whole week, plus eating very healthily. And they were enormous to start with (almost as big as me, LOL!). I'm sure you can do it, maybe not by wednesday, but the exercise will make you feel and look good, it will tone you up, make your skin glow (not as in sweat, as in look at me aren't I gorgeous), and you will feel full of confidence. Ex Mr Jo will rue the day.

Yes, it's definately the weekend. In my house the weekend starts on Friday evening.

I've done the floordrobe. Most has gone in the wash, as if I didn't have enough washing to do! I need a TD rather urgently, can't get it all dry quick enough!

    Evening all

Toots - I hope your stuff sells at the auction and that you are going to have a nice quiet day tomorrow.

Jo - you are doing great. I'm proud of you.

Soappie - I'm so glad you enjoyed your raddishes - I don't like them and neither do the family so don't grow them. Have you tried beetroot - I grow them really for the leaves which you can cut and cut - my current ones have been in nearly a year and are still going strong.

Toots - I've finished Tuesday and Thursday now. Will finish Wednesday tomorrow.

Just going to do a couple of bits on here and then see if I can watch GW on catchup
