Have to say you are extremely efficient Toots - my extra star is there already :j Thank you.

Now I am feeling guilty as you manage to find time to fly and keep the list updated and answer posts properly whereas I just ate another curly wurly...

Very frustrating as I would love to have an immaculate house (and get more stars) but it's really hard to fit everything in. RThe house isn't that bad as at the moment it is only me, but some of you out there do an amazing job and yet I can't even manage to cope with the little I have to do.

And on that note I am off to bed - has been a long day and tutoring at 8 in the morning. Night all.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Evening :)

Rosepink, thanks, but it's hard, all will be explained in a mo. With the food depends how much of each you have, me I'd have had a little bit of icecream instead :D
hex, it's amazing what you can achieve when you want something bad enough and put your mind to it. I think you were really brave knowing you were buying at the top of your budget but it is such a beautiful house. Oh and ((hugs)) because it sounds like you need one.
soappie well done with the radish, one of the only veg I don't really like.
greenbee have a lovely day off, oh a car boot sale, over a year since I have been to one.....wonder if maybe this weekend as DPs refused to run the club (maybe finally realising he's being taken lend of)
Jo, I agree with soappie, sounds like you are best rid!
rach :) pleased to hear you are well even if it's a little crazy
kaz ((hugs)) sounds like you could do with one, when are you away next? Is it the rose influencing your typing? Looks like maybe a coffee as recommended or just use it to aid your sleep (really hope your head isn't too bad in the morning for your early start)

Well :o that didn't go well. I got a headache, immediate one, as soon as I'd posted the list (maybe the stress?lol) so went to lay on the bed before he went to work. Well I went to sleep, so when he had to go out I had to get back up and haven't been able to pull myself together properly since. DS2 soaked me so got into PJs then a new Bettaware guy came who had my previous order for me (ordered with old rep) a fridge file :D it's great, magnetic with an organiser and pouches for paperwork. What great timing, all that mountain I cleared earlier would have been easier to deal with when it first came in with that!

Ds2 planted some potatoes yesterday, too many in one pot I think but he decided it was ok (after I said it was not) Wondering what else he isn't too late to plant...issue is how much we will be away as I don't want things dying off but my reluctance last year and everything thrived due to the wet weather (well drained pots seemed to cope better than peoples gardens) Oh that was a weird thing actually DS2 has a carrot growing, must be from last years seeds. I will have a look in the drawer tomorrow, see what seeds we have and what it says on the packets. I suppose all being in pots it means he's less restricted as they can be brought inside.

Going to pop myself something in the microwave as I have had no dinner, might potter as I go, see if I can clear some of the junk so it's easier in the morning.
One day I might be more organised...........

Ive also spent ages since after-school with LO who is currently refusing to do work in class. He will do it if the teacher sits beside him and constantly keeps on at him to put pencil to paper, but as soon as shes not sitting on top of him, he is staring out of the window, or messing around with his mates. Im at my wits end.

The other day, all morning he wrote the letters 'D, E and V' between 9am and 10.30 (playtime). they were working on development of tadpoles to frogs.....that was as much as he wrote in 90 mins! She's spoken to him, shes spoken to me, Ive spoken to him, the Headteacher knows, and HE knows that she knows - but still he sits with his head in the clouds.

He is bone idle. So currently he is working through the spelling books from FRODDERS!!! (thank you!) His little backside is grounded and he has been told that if he wont do the work at school he needs to do it at home. No TV, cartoons, games, computers of any kind, NOTHING!!

What age is he ? My DS (nearly 6, in Year 1) is heading the same way. He's very very bright , and I don't think he's lazy particularly, but he is a daydreamer, as you say "head in the clouds". Other kids write 3 sentences, he writes 3 words. He just forgets what he was doing and loses focus. At hoe we find him examining fluff on the floor of the toilet forgetting he had gone to do a wee. Lying on his bed , feet up the wall singing, naked, forgetting he was getting dressed. Picking at the carpet forgetting he was getting his shoes on.:mad::mad:
We had a fight on our hands at the start of the year, his teacher (very new and inexperienced) thought he was doing it deliberately to wind her up. At least now she recognises its just him and tries to set him off on tasks first etc. He must do her head in cos he does my head in at home!!! He doesnt get much set work yet, I am dreading next year. The homework he gets at the moment should take 15 mins and takes us a good hour with me sitting on his case like you say. If you find any methods that work let me know!
