Think i`ll give them a call with this excuse this afternoon,............. Hope we are right about the dates.......... there is no word of a changeover on the UB website LOL

No you got better mate, staff from Natwest telling you on this thread when the date is! For that, they also posted the first photo and leaflet up for us..... shame the actual bank isn't as good as the few Natwest staff on here (you know who you are stclair, Kav etc etc)

as per my other thread , i appear to have been downgraded and sent a SOLO card !

Only because the card was sent last week before the actual release date - typical natwest numpties.... LOL

I asked the girl specifically if the new card would be visa debit, and she said yes. There's no word of any of the changes happening on Ulsterbank's website, they are reducing their bank charges same as the other 2 on the first of October and theres not a word of that either.

Maybe they just sent you the wrong card, its in the terms and conditions that you will receive and equvilant or better card, not be downgraded. Call and find out whats going on,

I not with NATWEST though, I`m with Ulster bank. Just thinking they might be a few weeks behind NAT, the way NAT where a few behind RBS

So....We're all agreed that when your new cards start arriving later this week that they'll all be shiny new singin 'n dancin Visa Debit ones.

What are the chances there has been some last minute !!!!-up and you'll all end up with replacement Maestro's and Solo's?:p

I'm tempted to ring them up today or tomorrow and just request a new card - Do I ring my branch phone number or a central lost/stolen card phone number? (Even though my card is not lost)

They are usually computer generated mate, it doesn't add up but order the new card and just forget to mention you got the solo and say 'will my new card be the same as my old maestro with the same CGC Limit' - this way they should be able to order you a matching card (obv Visa now)....

    Good Luck.
