Neighbour threatening my cat - advice please?

That's a difficult one. My dad's a git when it comes to cats and put spikes in between the plants so when they jump off the fence they'll get impaled. He's also told the neighbours that he'll kill them if he catches them. It's weird. I think it's because they crap in other people's gardens, dig up plants and kill birds. But that's nature. I get my dogs to chase them off my property (I feed birds). I don't really know what to suggest - you'll just have to hope that they don't have a air rifle.
a git? thats a bit of an understatement. how would he like to be impaled. u need to teach him some compassion0 -
As I said this morning:Erk! Mention cats and all the mentalists will come out of the woodwork,
Got no thanks for that, of course, but was I right, or was I right?
You be the judge.
Goodnight!;)0 -

Your dad is a dispicable pice of s**te who takes pleasure in causing pain to animals, however, deliberate acts of violence, cruelty or action that causes suffering to anmals is now a CRIMINAL offence. i hope anyone who causes pain to animals ends up in jail, they will then likely find out what it is like to be on the receiving end of cruelty as inmates are renound for bullying and violence.
i keep animals, cats and dogs, all bar one are rescue animals, quite frankly if any of my neighbours made such a threat to my animals they would wish they were in jail by the time i'd finished with them.
Unless your neighbours possess air rifles don't worry too much, the chances of a pot bellied chav catching a cat are laughable, if they do possess air rifles, report them to the police for threatening to shoot your animals, i dont care if they actually said that, they implied it. there is a good chance the police will confiscate it.
Also if they are council tennets, complain about them every day, and get your family and freinds to do the same, posing as residents of the street, tell the council they are being abusive, playing loud music at night, harrassing you, sustain youre complaints and they will likely get moved on, if you have freinds in the street, ideally who like animals, try to get them to join your campaign against these scum, two can play dirty and frankly, if my animals safety was at risk, there is nothing i wouldn't do to get these people evicted.0 -
