    All true yukkibear!!

I soooooo want to go and get a load more stuff relisted, but I have this exam tomorrow and I keep going over and over my notes, I'm driving myself crazy with it.

I just don't want to fail, I've managed to "think" myself into such a grump today, I just hate the pressure of exams :( We didn't go anywhere or do anything today either, which made it worse, I think if we'd gone out for an hour or two it would have taken my mind of it, instead of me going round and round things in my head. Our DD didn't seem to mind tho, she wandered back and forth between colouring in and her little village that she loves. So at least she was happy!

On a MSE Positive note, I managed a NSD and also made my lunch for my three days at work this week, so hopefully won't spend at work.

Maybe I just put too much pressure on myself, I've got our daughter to look after, a full time job which is juggled between some days in the office, some at home, I'm trying to pay my debt and raise this £20 per day to get to my target, study for my degree and sometimes I just get tired and want it all to be paid off/course completed INSTANTLY!

Off to have a quick read of the threads I've subscribed to as a revision break.... then its back to my law books :(

Didn't realise I had waffled on for so long, but feel better for it! :rotfl:

Hi cwc. Perhaps you should have a break from the revision. I am a believer of what you don;t know by now at this late stage you wont take in anyway. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I only work part time, a work based course and a dd and I'm shattered all the time lol, so you're doing good.

I know the feeling about wanting debts paid off now. When I get like this I do one of two things, spend some money which helps for a bit but not overall, or just step back from it all for an evening, when it takes over it's not fun.

    Thanks guys....

Yukkibear I've had a break for the last hour or so.... my mum is of the same frame of mind as you I think, she said to me on the phone earlier, if you don't know it now at this point, your brain is not going to absorb it!! The first part of the exam is a multiple choice so I should manage to gain enough marks in that to at least scrape a pass.... I really wanted to get at least one A before I finish the course, but now I think if I pass it - thats good enough for me!! I totally agree with you tho, it is tiring but I guess it will be worth it in the end..........

Swinstie - thanks for your good luck wishes! I'm a natural born 'panic' type when it comes to exams, hopefully it goes well!

During my little study break, I decided to look for a bed for my daughters birthday which is coming up. She is only going to be 2 so we're going for the practical route and getting her a "big girl" bed!! Tesco's do one we like so going to order it tomorrow to take advantage of the double points offer which ends tomorrow. I have £45.50 of tesco vouchers sitting so will use them, as I'm kinda skint just now!! If I order the bed alone, it is just under £60 so won't actually COST too much, we have a brand new mattress in our spare room I'm going to use. The spare room has a single bed with guest bed underneath, and the matress on the guest bed underneath has never been used - so thats my MSE decision on the mattress (haven;t told my OH yet, sure he'll go along for the quiet life)!! To order the bed and matress together was £121 so it'll leave some spare money to get her covers, matress protector, sheets, bed guard etc............. so I didn't take a break from studies to do nothing, I feel its justified because I did something I actually needed to do!

Geeeeee, my posts are getting awfully long winded on here tonight.... hope I'm not boring you all too much, and thanks again Yukkibear and Swinstie..... horray to MSE Buddies!! :T :j :T :j

Good luck for the exam tomorrow chick - if you are getting stressed try Rescue Remedy - it takes the edge off of anxiety.

It sounds like you've got more after tomorrow. Am so glad that I only have one!

Hope you manage to get some rest tonight!

I didn't realise our daughter's were the same age. My dd2 is coming up 2 in June. I'm ordering her "big girls bed" tonight lol as OH has a day off on thurs and I should get next day del for thurs if I order tonight after 5pm. We're going for a pine 3ft and new matress so going to spend £150 but it should last her. We contemplated a toddler bed set with desk and other bits in a set from argos but when we measured up we realised the bed wasn;t much bigger than her cot so wasn't really worth it.

Also need to get wallpaper, a new carpet and curtains. We're doing a Disney Princess theme.

Hi Yukkibear, yes my daughter is 2 in the middle of May! I ordered her bed today, its the clarinda one from tescos, I've tried to attache a photo but I can't () but its real cute! Me and my OH are off next week so we'll get it set up then, plus if we're both off work and there are sleepless / restless nights - at least we don't have work in the morning!! I know what you mean about the toddler beds, they're sweet but probably don't last any length of time at all. Love the sound of the disney princess theme - perfect for your little princess!!

The exam went MUCH better than I thought... I was in a panic yesterday and earlier today, so releived its over!!

Urg - I hope yours went well too!! I had totally forgotten about Rescue Remedy, I used to use it before and found it great, so big thanks for the reminder :T Only two more exams to go next week then thats me back to just assignments for the next couple of months!!

Thanks for the good luck wishes and all the support from everyone - it helped HUGELY so thanks a milion!

Glad it went well cwc. I ordered the bed last night and it's coming tomorrow when OH is off so he can lug it all upstairs lol.
DD is 2 at the beginning of JUne so they are very close together.

We got her a playhouse for the garden for her birthday (also comeing tomorrow) and I can't wait. I think I'll be in it more than she is lol.

Glad to hear you got the bed ordered, and you have the muscle power on standby to lug it into the house!! :rotfl:

Yes there must only be a few weeks between our daughters, its a great age they are at isn't it? I love the little conversations I have with my daughter now that she really chats back and forth with you, its great!!

I'm not sure what else we're getting her for her birthday, our garden is a mess right now so maybe once we get that fixed (next week when we're both on holiday!!) we'll get some garden toys. She is really into HappyLand from the early learning centre, it seems to be her favourite thing just now!!

Yes this age is a lovely age. They can actually understand you and hold a conversation even if most of it is still gibberish from my dd lol. I've got too many toys I don't know what to do with them. Every time I think dd is too old for something she plays with it and I realise I can't take it away as she loves it lol.

We don't have any happyland but she was given a huge box of duplo with all the animals and people in at the weekend from my niece so that's more to be scattered around the lounge lol.

DD is really into her playdoh and colouring and stickers at the mo which is nice and I make the playdoh so very mse lol.

Good luck with the garden, my mil and OH have been doing ours slowly since last summer and it's starting to look half decent now.
