Hi Yukkibear, Di and any lurkers!

I feel as though I have abandoned you all and not been on here since Friday!! Have missed the chat! ;)

The meeting with the FI went well thanks yukki, he's coming back tomorrow with the papers for OH to sign. We've managed to get some extra cash out to replace our windows, which are touching 30 years old  AND our monthly payment is still just under £100 per month less. Our LTR value is still only around 65% so its all good me thinks!!

How did the shopping trip go with your dd1? Did she manage to get you to part with some of your hard earned cash? :p

The night out was good thanks Di, until I left the venue to find I had a parking ticket!! Was completely unimpressed and have written a letter of objection because I've parked loads there at night and there were other cars there too so I genuinely thought it was one of those "After 6pm you can park here" bits. Never mind, we'll see what they say - but I am totally reluctant to pay it.

Funny you should mention garden centres, I was at a couple this weekend too! My garden is going to be my new cheap-ish hobby. Found a great local place that is really reasonable prices so I'm going to get some nice bright flowers from there.

Well done on getting the ironing done Di - thats a great acheivement :T, mine normally sits until its about the same height as me before I tackle it!! :rotfl:

Anyway, I am off to watch BGT - I recorded it as I was at uni tonight.

Talk to you all tomorrow - I promise!!

DD is very nearly 5. I still have her cot up in my bedroom which is the dumping area for everything that needs ironed. I don't think it has ever been empty:o

I love it!! I've only recently taken down our DD's cot or I would have maybe used it for the same thing!! :rotfl:

    Hi there CWC

Sorry to hear of the parking ticket......., so annoying that !!

Well if they do you for this, they have a heck of a lot do deal with then don't they? with all the other cars also parked there.

Glad you had a good night out despite that unfortunate parking ticket you could do without there, I wish you luck.

lol, well my ironing would be the same if not worse, my oldest son who will be 21 this year, he tend to change his clothes twice to three times a day......., then his clothes are thrown in the wash basket, I told him he's old enough and big enough to do his own washing now.....he's decided to cut down to getting changed only twice a day now lol........:D:T.

On a lovely hot day the garden centre is my fave day out, however I am an hay-fever sufferer, so by the time I return home I'm paying for it big time, feels like I'm being punished for going out.......:o:D.

Hope to catch you for a chat soon and hope you and your lovely family are well, speak soon, take care.

    From me lol. XX

Hello Di! How are you today? I'm at work, and not feeling very motivated I have to say!

Not much happening with me at the moment, just waiting to hear from my creditors regarding the letters I sent them and also the council regarding the parking ticket - that completely p*ssed me off I have to say! There was me going to a free night out and thought I'd take the car so I wouldn't have any taxi fares and I'd have been cheaper taking taxi's if I do have to pay the fine! Never mind, such is life I suppose!

I'm desperate to go back out to that garden centre you know!! I need to hang fire tho, because I have my car insurance coming off on 1st June and this is my first month with the new company so I need to wait until I see exactly how much will come off. My LAST DMP payment to this awful company is also out on the 1st so once they are off I may treat myself to some nice pansies and perhaps a sunflower or two!

I saw this cool debt tracker thingy on RunMichelleRun's diary and quite fancied one for myself so here it is:

    Hope that worked! xxx

How did you get that tracker CWC? Seen one on another thread too, does it work out the % paid for you?

    Hey Swinstie!

Its on a website called tickerfactory.com there are loads of different styles and you can have it displayed as the amount or the percentage. I'll be checking out your diary later on to see if you created one!! ;) CwC x

Forgot to say I like your mini targets idea too. When do you want the next account gone by?
