Loose Change Pays My Debt version 2

  • Glad you had that money to fall back on Lou, it's far better to use that than stick it on a CC

I've been paid 8 quid today and another 8 quid yesterday from friends who wanted things from my online shop but wanted to pay in cash! Yay! I'm so rich! I will put one lot in my pot when I get home and keep the other lot in my purse for emergency spending.

We are staying at my parents house over the weekend - they are away and we are here to look after the bunny rabbit and have a break. It's so relaxing here! I've been reading a book all evening while DH watched a film. And the bunny is really sweet and keeps wanting to be stroked. He's a house rabbit and lives in the living room!

I hope you are all having a good weekend xx

Hi Rosepink =D im ok, money has been really tight lately so havent been able to save many pennies. I am going to try again now xmas was over =D how have you been? saving loads i see, puts me to shame, did xmas put a big dint in your savings? I avoided buying presents this year, felt really bad but would rather be a big scrooge than be starting on the od and cc again =D x
  • I'm not too bad, have had a virus for ages which is making me feel lousy. But am ok. We have no money and had to get a crisis loan to buy food but are hoping to get some benefits come through soon. So I'm not saving much really but if i have cash I try to put it in my pot for a rainy day

You are right about the presents, lots of people go into debt (or more debt) and then are very miserable. I'm sure your friends and family would rather go without a pressie instead of making you v stressed and worried. We don't celebrate Christmas so didn't have that problem
