  • Focus don’t worry about not having much change, it’s very difficult at the mo. Well done on your 70p.

Lesley, great you are already saving for the new year! Looking forward to our count up. I shouldn’t really watch sad films as I get a bit low after doing so, but am curious as to what it’s about?

    Cat how are you doing?

I hope everyone had a nice weekend. We were at a Bible assembly yesterday which was really good. Today we went to see my grandparents and my parents and sister were there too and we played card games together. It was really fun!

Welcome Spykey, how lovely to have you joining in with us! Post as often as you like, as I find it quite motivating to post on here with my progress and see other people posting. We often don't notice those pennies and small change, but when they are saved up, it can make quite a difference to those debts! Happy saving!

Thanks Rosepink, I'm off to count up all the coins I already have in a pot and will post how much that is later! Its definitely going to help, as my nan used to say, "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves!" :D x

Well, I have gotten of to a reasonable start. Since getting the Focus 10%off card I have managed to save £1.50 on items that I had budgeted for. In the pot it goes. Not a good month to start the challenge but at least whatever I put in is a start.

Cherisong, I must apologise, I was having a rough week last week and didn't add you to the list. I will go and do that now. Very sorry! I suffer from depression and when I'm struggling, I often forget things that I should be doing. Well done on your £1.50, every little helps, as they say!
