cherisong you should find that just by having posted you will get an email when someone replies ..or once a day. you can change the frequency of those by going to thread tools at the top of the thread iykwim and unsubscribing then resubscribing in their it then lets you set when it emails you. i keep it set to email me as soon as someone posts after me, then i can come keep up straight away....or not as the case may be.0 -
Cherisong, we are honoured that this thread is your first ever post on this site! As Cat said, you should be subscribed to this thread now, but recently I've been finding it doesn't automatically subscribe me when I post, so if you don't, then go to thread tools at the top of the page and click subscribe to thread. You will be able to find it again under user cp next time you want to come back to this thread.
Don't worry about not having much on 2nd Jan, December is a tough month for many moneywise, but just save what you can. Every penny in the pot is another penny to pay off your debts! Sounds like you have had a lot of changes lately, so take your time adjusting to them and settling in to your new life. Look forward to getting to know you some more.
Cat, how you today? When do you leave for Egypt?
Have had a good day today, done lots of chores, and had the window open to ventilate the flat a bit as we have a damp problem. It feels so much nicer in here this evening, all clean and cosy! Going out tomorrow, so I hope it's sunny still!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

its great when the house is all clean and tidy and sorted isnt it, hope the rain we have her edoesnt make it your way for tomorrow. where are you going?0 -
Thanks Rosepink and Cat. Yes lots of change which is why I thought that this would be an appropriate challenge for me!
Yesterday I discovered that, as I am buying a new house, I could register with focus diy for a 10% discount card which is valid for 6 months. I always buy my dog food from there so off I tootled and saved £1. 12 from the bill. So that has gone into the piggy bank. £1 into one pig and 12pennies in the other pig.
Look forward to getting to know you too and to picking up some good ideas and inspiration. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -
I've been thinking about a family holiday we are going on next year in March, and I really need to have some spending money so I'm going to aim to save £100 in my loose change pot before then. It would be nice to go away without having to worry too much about money and to be able to pay for a meal out for all of us. So that's my new goal! Should be manageable I think"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I've got £10 to put in this week as I've not spent any cash all week! Yay!
Don't forget it's a free listing weekend on ebay, might be a good opportunity to raise some cash! I've listed a few bits, going to take some more pics now"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
