Cherisong, I must apologise, I was having a rough week last week and didn't add you to the list. I will go and do that now. Very sorry! I suffer from depression and when I'm struggling, I often forget things that I should be doing. Well done on your £1.50, every little helps, as they say!

No problem rosepink. I fully understand having been there myself. Still have the odd bad day and last Saturday was one for me. I put it down to the planets :snow_laug

  • I had lots of lovely change today after going to the library and paying a fine, but then I went to hte Post Office for some stamps and it all went. Man, stamps are expensive these days. I think I've got about 40p left! Will bung that in the pot (splitting it with the sealed pot challenge), better than nothing I suppose. I want that nice shiny £2 coin back!

Have a great weekend everyone! We are planning to have a nce day at home tomorrow as we are both worn out and feel like we are fighting off a bug. Lots of sleeping in, tv watching and generally slobbing about planned! Yay!

  • i have another bag worth £20 to bank on monday, think that will be it now as far as counting and banking goes until next year.

hope your enjoying your day at home rosepink, im doing the same today (though it means raiding my £2 coins to go to the corner shop.

    have a good weekend everyone.
  • I've totted up my total for the 'year' (bearing in mind I started late). Next year will be slightly harder as we're in the final stages of buying our first house so will have real bills to pay. Anyway, so far this year, I've saved £220.96 which is quite impressive, really! I have £40 ready to bank (don't count that yet, though) and am close to a bag of pound coins. Will update later in the week once I've paid it in.

  • righty going bvy the totals int he first post here £50 £40 £20 plus the 110 i used for computer and the 20 i banked the other day that makes £240 since as my total for past few months since i started counting properly (saving everything which is not notes, and raiding only when i had to).

so, though im early, £240 as my total for 1st jan please :)

my sister has just given me a coin sorter, which has totals for when its full of each coin too (as she bought two and liked the other one better) which will make it much easier to keep track and count next year :D

hope you all have a lovely christmas and new year, and ill be back around the 4th ish of jan.
  • Well done Cat on your total, that's a fab amount! Have a lovely trip away and see you when you get back.

We've had a pretty rubbish week moneywise - the rent was due on Wed and we have been really short of money since so I've not had my usual tenner to spend, which means I've no change to put in the pot this week. Will try harder next week!

On the plus side, I've been working hard promoting my new online shop, so am waiting for the sales to flood in!

    Have a good week everyone!
