Do most of you use the coinstar machines or do you bag up the pennies and queue at the bank?

Welcome Rainstar and Laurasavon – I will go and give you your numbers. Please feel free to post as much as you like as it encourages us all and then we can encourage you! - Laura, I resent paying the coinstar machines the fee they take so I bag up my money and pay it into the bank, that way I get to keep every penny!

Well done to those who have counted up – I was really rubbish and didn’t count up, as am feeling not too well this weekend. But I will do it in the next couple of days.

I will come back and update your totals on the first page when my head isn't pounding, if I do it now I will just make a mistake.

I am going to restart my exercise routine tomorrow and losing weight too hopefully. Have done some walking today and have been very careful what I eat so hopefully things won't be too bad when I weigh myself tomorrow!

    Have a good week everyone!

Hey Rosepink, how have you been? i havent added anything to my pot yet this year as havent spent much which is good for me. I really need to get back on the dieting as xmas has made me gain alot of what i lose previously. If you are interested there is a diet thread here where everyone who needs a bit of motivation can join http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2178109 =D

Well done Spykey thats brilliant, the change really adds up without you even realising it, for me it was only small amounts like 5p and 20p which you really dont see disappearing from your purse. Well done again and keep at it this year =D

Welcome Laura, i normally count my change up into the coin bags and queue up at the counter, but some banks now have a coin deposit machine which you can deposit the coins straight into your bank account, i think its only HSBC and Natwest that i have heard about doing them. x
