Well done Focus, Lesley and Cat for adding to your pots

Inapickle good job on paying money into the bank! Little bits of money soon add up!

Budget well done on saving your change and paying it into the bank – would you like to join us? I will allocate you a number on the first page

I'm really sorry I've not been about and looking after you properly. I promise I will come on here tomorrow and record your totals on the front page. My husband has been home because of the snow and I've not had as much access to the computer as normal!

I hope you are all well and coping with the snow and ice. Lesley sorry you had trouble with your work, that's a bit rubbish especially as the tv has been saying not to travel! Keep warm everyone - turn that heating on even if you are worried about the bill - there is help available for people struggling with heating costs as it's vital to keep warm in this weather.

    Good morning Rosepink 1984

yes please allocate me, it's a great idea and with so many others doing the same thing there's others to talk too.
  • Hi all and happy new year! Sorry, didn't do a count-up... I'll reset my 'banked' amount though. I'm targetting £200 for the year, which may be a push with a new mortgage to pay.

Anyway, so far this year I've added £6.45 to the pot.

    Hi everyone!

I've updated the first post with all your totals from the countup at the beginning of January (including mine of £22) - you have all done so well! I'm really amazed at how much you have all saved! Congratulations!

I've also changed the colours - purple is for all the people who joined in 2009 and all the money saved in that year, and red is for 2010. I hope that makes sense. I've also added up how much each person saved in 2009 and put the total figure next to each name to make it a bit tidier and easier to read!

I was amazed to see that Lesley has saved nearly £400 in 2009, and so I've created a special award! Congratulations Lesley, you are our star saver for 2009! I wonder who it will be in 2010.

Hopefully I've not made any mistakes in my rejigging - please let me know if I have.

Budget welcome to the thread, it’s really nice having you joining in with us! Post as little or as much as you like, and we will all encourage each other

    Pockets, what a great goal!

Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

    Hi Rosepink,
Finally got around to counting up December figure and it comes out at £40.20 I am shocked at that amount considering it was December but I doubt I will do as well this month. All my annual bills are due out this month!
Do we count up at the end of every month?
