Have you asked all your suppliers to stop using Royal Mail?

Why would I ask them to stop using RM? I have had no problems with RM. If you get off your high horse for a minute, and READ what I wrote, I discouraged posties from using this practice, along with doorstopping when I worked in the office that dealt with returned packets. It's not worth their job and is a sackable offence. If I had a RM worker doing that, I would have no qualms about reporting it. Although, given that they are x colleagues, I would give them the benefit of the doubt once and have a chat with them.

And just for the record, RM delivered from my catalogue today :T as promised by catalogue along with a nice £30 discount.

I just wish you were the courier in this neck of the woods. You sound very much like the lady who covered the last area. I take my hat off to you for doing the job as it should be done :T:T:T:T

what do you mean by 'proper Yodel delivery'?

your angry that the parcel will be delivered today as expected?

There are two different Yodel courier companies (at least in my area) - the original HDNL couriers which now trade as Yodel and a separate franchise which use self-employed couriers. These are totally independent of each other.

The former has been delivering to me for several years and is a shining example of how a courier operation should work. The latter operation have yet to actually get a delivery to me that isn't late/damaged/missing, hence my annoyance at discovering they have hold of my prized Boots order which I need to arrive this week!!

ETA: When I placed my order with Boots and saw that they were using Yodel I naturally assumed my order would arrive with the "proper" Yodel courier this morning and not end up in the hands of the cowboys masquerading as couriers!!

Ah right, I see what you mean. When they eventually integrate I wish you the best of luck :D

    Did you parcel arrive?

The majority of the restructuring won't happen after the peak they've had (except for the depot closures, and in far greater numbers than they had planned). They have been delivering two days late and scrapped next day altogether.

Yodel are doomed - their clients won't tolerate their performance and the Barclays won't accept the losses they are making for much longer.

Good grief, everyones posts gone again over 3 days, I've noticed this twice. Does someone get really abusive and almost all posts are removed or is it large companies complaining about bad press.

My posts were in answer to a serial complainer and I think they should be seen to level truth and possible fiction.

I would say so - physical threats towards people are generally not allowed on a family forum.

I would like to say I know what you mean but missed the problem!

I don't think physical threats should be allowed on any forums- let alone family forums.

I think it's wrong that valid and non threatening posts should also be removed, IMO it allows the serial complainer to carry on unchallenged.

It happens a lot when one party realises they have embarrassed themselves and they report the posts that reveal their misdemeanours. The mods then remove the posts, because they just bend over and take it.
The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark

If that's aimed at me then it's yet another example of you two barking up the wrong tree! :rotfl:

I have absolutely no reason to report any posts and wasn't even aware any had been removed until just now! I can only assume some other(s) found your witch hunt & personal remarks slightly distasteful! Ask Squeaky, he/she was the last to comment on this thread!
