It would depend on what I was ordering but I would say on average appx £5-£7.0

I very seriously doubt that you would be willing to pay up to seven pounds extra for your internet deliveries. If you have thirty parcels a year you would be willing to pay two hundred and ten pounds extra per year? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
My supermarket weekly delivery can cost me up to £7 if I don't book early enough! I doubt I'd have to pay it on all parcels, some fit through the letter box and some I can collect from the depot. A day's annual leave is worth way more than £7 to me. I frequently already pay up to £5 so what's a couple of pounds more.0

What is wrong with calling your supplier?
Are you for real?! So, if I happen to miss a delivery rather than have a mobile number whereby I can make a quick 2 minute call to re-arrange a mutually convenient delivery, you expect me to call up some overseas customer service dept to ask them to then call the courier company who in turn has to contact the courier.... and we're still left with neither me knowing when to expect re-delivery or the courier to know when I'd be available to take it!! *rollseyes*“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Or expect the courier to spend thirty pence on a premium rate telephone number to his company, when he only earns thirty-five pence for your delivery, of which he is now working at a loss for the second or third attempt.
Here's an idea, how about you agree to give your courier a one pound tip, everytime you leave message on his voicemail, or when you haven't been in when he calls to deliver your parcel. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Well how about I charge them for wasting my time when I've waited in all day expecting a delivery between 7am-9pm and they've failed to show!! Nobody can realistically be expected to sit waiting for a delivery for 14hours!!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Here's a thought, why don't you cut out the middle man and pay the courier the extra seven pounds. I am pretty sure they would be more than happy to deliver at the time you want, if you were paying them an extra seven pounds for each parcel. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

So, you are happy to moan about that, but not willing to pay a fair price for the service you want. We can all now see your true colours. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Who said anything about price? You haven't a clue what delivery charges I've paid!!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I don't think the courier gives a hoot what you have paid, because he just gets paid the same anyway. Why should he deliver your parcels for a loss? Why should he pay you to deliver your parcels? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0
