    Trespass??????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I would imagine that, after two years, Kittieme0w has either received her Wii from Gratton, or re-ordered it from somewhere else. :D

    yes i know that, but if you read my whole comment
    even if you dont this sometimes works and as a major catalogue co they will have contracts with several couriers

    Hermes have lost two of my parcels - one from H&M, and the other from Dorothy Perkins. Both were very large orders, and both companies took a very long time to refund me! (The status was "Not collected by local courier" so something going on at the depot?)

    Why would Hermes refund you?
    However the new Hermes guy from my area seems nice - better than the previous guy, who was a chain-smoker in his delivery car (so all my parcels reeked of smoke) and who decided TWICE that a safe place to leave a parcel was inside my wheelie bin! On bin day no less, which is why the bin was outside!

    Smoking in his car is illegal. This covered by the recent ban on smoking in the work place.

    That in no way indicates you were commenting something contemporary.

    But I am curious as to where you get this "trespass" nonsense from; who would you report it to?

    you dont need to report it, you just need to inform the supplier and even the courier company. its a way of telling them that they are not welcome on your property.

    if you own the property you have the right to refuse entry to anyone or any company.

    But you advised someone to report them for trespass, I was just wondering how that would all work and how it would deter someone from making a delivery to you.

    Not strictly true though, is it.

    That said, how would you expect to get any deliveries? It is not up to you to decide how your suppliers deliver your goods.

    yes it is if it is your property (private property) then you can restrict or prohibit any person or company from entering your property.

    this is the same as a shop can prohibit you from entering their store.

    Err........I think you'll find that is not strictly correct. I can think of several individuals and corporatations that can enter your property without your permission.
