Having the worst experience ever with a courier company . Three no shows and a refusal to uplift, (too big - they took dimensions and description).seller has waited in 3 days (raging) . Absolutely never again.:(
Why did you send a package which you knew was over-sized for the service you were ordering? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
Yes, with a court order.
Then obviously the Police ect..
Water/electric/gas companies...etc. And without the need for a warrant or court order. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Are you sure thats right ? Seems odd they would be legally allowed to enter your property without a court order.
If they are disconnecting a property then a court order has to be obtained first so then they would be allowed.0 -

If any of these services feel that a danger exists, they have the right to enter the property, without the prior permission of property's owner, to remove the risk. If, for example, a gas leak is suspected, Centrica have the right and duty to go onto someones land and repair the leak, all without informing, or seeking permission from, the property's owner. The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Does your bell work?
Is it possible that it was left outside your front door, behind a plant pot etc.?
With that said, if you haven't received it, there is nothing to cancel, but you can cancel it without receving it.The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
no it isnt working but there were 4 people downstairs at the time in the kitchen which is 4 metres away from the door. i went next door(both sides) and they didnt take anything. and there was no calling card either
i just double checked with a torch and checked every place he could of left it and there was nothing to be found0 -

Well, it is not a surprise really that he left the parcel in a secure place. However, he should have left a calling card.i just double checked with a torch and checked every place he could of left it and there was nothing to be found
I'd leave it until the morning when it is light. Check the recycling bins, side passages, any little hiding place etc. Do you have a back gate? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -
yes we have a gate but it is always locked and i checked behind it already.
it is an electronic peice of kit worth £140 and losing it would mean i cant refund it.
ill have one more look and report back0 -
im not sure if the gate was open at 5pm but i checked the garden with the headlight we have and i checked the garage to see if it was in there, nothing.
nobody heard a knock or anything0
