Morning! We saw a deal in the Travel agents yesterday for 2 weeks in the Caribbean for about £700, but we've gone and done the stupid thing and settled on the hotel we want to stay in so our choices are very limited! I suppose if we're splashing out on a mad holiday we might as well get exactly what we want!Good luck checking the bank account Tete! I'll be checking when tomorrow, when I've been paid!

You have to send TAB copies of your passports to cash your money in? Hopefully you'll still be able to get the payout Dinah.

Bank account wasn't as bad as I suspected, got £300 in there and £16 in my purse. Have put some money away for Paris already but want to get some out for TV licence which is due June ... oh no, and car tax is due! I forgot about that! Gah! I can probably pay for that online after I'm paid on 26th though?? That's 5 days before the end of May, yes that's ok. Expensive weekend coming up though and best friend's birthday beginning of June... Sorry, ramble ramble!

Yes why not splash out Birdie? I think the only time you can get really good bargain holidays is if you're flexible on dates and not bothered about where you go.

Existing funds are still there to withdraw, it's just the new scratchies you do I think!

I agree Birdie, if you're going for it your mareswell do what you want to do! Found mine and OHs holiday for next year, sadly no where near as exotic as your holidays, but it looks too cute to pass up http://www.isleofwightcampers.co.uk/ I think we've still got a good few years to wait until we can afford more than UK holidays, so I've decided to look at the more unique things!

I'm too scared to look at my bank account too, went on a cosmetic and tictac shopping spree yesterday, bought the shoes my sister wanted too, just about to log on and look at the balance through my fingers.

ETA: You just have to send your passport to be verified I think Tete! I managed to do mine over the phone though with gala bingo, couldn't you do the same Dinah?
Sounds like a very spendy time Tete! I've just got over mine with vespa bills and birthdays. I paid my road tax online a few days before it was due I think, no problems!

Tete is there a secret link to the cheap Barcelo rooms? I can't find them!

Sorry Dinah I only just noticed this by accident - here's the link to the page I get when I click through the email they sent me (!): http://www.barcelo-hotels.co.uk/offers/17747 Don't know how easy it is to find the cheap rooms though!

Cinny OMG that looks AMAZING!!!! And might actually be an outlet for my VW Camper lust! Forwarding the link to OH as I type!!!

£350 for 5 days isn't cheap Cinny, you'd certainly get a week in the med for that if you wanted to spread your wings a bit. The vans do look cute mind. I'm hoping we can get a bit of walking and few nights camping in over the summer just on weekends now NIM is working decent hours. Might try to find us something in the lakes the weekend before or after our anniversary just for a tiny break away to celebrate.

He told his boss on the farm today that he is leaving and he took it well, NIM is working up to the 21st (when we go to Ireland) on the farm, and going into the other job on the 26th.

There's this one too http://www.snailtrail.co.uk/ but the Isle of Wright one seems a lot prettier. You get a free cake too!

Wendz - I'm just glad I got to the payout level before they did it! I was thinking about using it to do scratchcards or bingo but you rarely win I don't know if it's worth it (that and I'll forget anyways!)

Oooh Cinny that looks like such a cute, fun idea! I love VW Camper Vans! I remember my friend's granddad used to have one and he'd take us to town in it, brilliant!
I've got a very spendy 2 days coming up so I'm glad I get paid tomorrow! We're going to Hotel Du Vin tonight and doing the 2 courses each and a bottle of wine for £29 deal thingy with my boss/friend and her BF. Tomorrow I'm out with a Rugby Wag friend as the boys are all off to the annual Player's Dinner (read: Annual Drink Fest!) which means another bottle of wine so I really hope Saturday is a quiet one!

Oooh you've just reminded me Birdie, a lovely hotel in Darlington used to do a great set menu in the summer season, will have to call them find out if it's on again this year as would make a very snazzy date night.

Lol that's oddly cheering, we couldn't rent those campers as both NIM and I are too young!

It is nice to know that we're too young for some things Dinah! Annoying though, OH and I would like to do a fly drive holiday in Florida (or if it was up to me, Tennessee so we can go to Dollywood!) but we can't rent a car until I'm 25 so it'll have to wait until at least next year!
