Trying to work out a route and exit strategy for Wembley on Saturday. Going to the U2 concert for £0.00.
Work are sponsoring the world tour so we are getting free tickets if the concerts are nearby. Will be standing on the pitch Saturday night.
Before you ask, parking has cost me £20 and the meeting pub is arranged!0 -

Oooh, sounds lovely! Which book were you discussing? How often does the club meet? I really do fancy joining one but I'm not very good at analysing- I just say if I like it or not, I don't really think about what the writer meant by setting it in Springtime and whatnot!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Booked the hotel in Dublin last night for next time we're over (Bewleys near the airport, looks lovely) but while it said £44, it came through as £50.32 or something, and I don't know why! This was on hotels.com, do they have a booking free, or are prices exclusive of VAT or something?
Haven't booked any of the Italy trip yet, my feet are a little chilly, its so much money!
We went throguh our budget last night, as we have run out of spends already. NIM is owed about £6 from some blokes at work, but that still only leaves us with £20, which he will spend on Friday night at some blokes leaving do. Turns out I sent us £75 less spends this month than we have written into the budget, lord knows why. So I moved £50 from the petrol account since that has over £350 in it and we've saved a bit by largely only running one car for the last few weeks.
So, on a similar note, NIM and I have made the decision to carpool to work. He actually commented this morning that he would miss us going to work together, I feel the same, so we're going to keep it up even once his car is fixed. We will take my car to Billingham, he'll go to work, then I will drive on to my work. This will mean him arriving 30-45 mins early every day, but it will save us in petrol and obviously look great to his boss! We're going to see how it works out practically, but it could save us a lot of money, and if we find we're never using his car we might be able to look to sell it if we don't start a renovation project.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It smells like it was exclusive of VAT or do they charge in Euros so the conversion has caught you out?
Where is the gym you guys use? If it is near Billingham your laughing plus you should leave NIM with the gym bags to save on weight while you trundle down the A19. Isnt the A19 mobbed at that time of the morning. My dad used to work in Stockton and travel through from Hartlepool each day.0 -
When the kids are off school the A19 is fine, however when they go back its not fun, okay before 8am though so will just deposit NIM early and pick him up on time.
Gym is at Teesside Park, so only about 3 or 4 miles from Billingham, so not hard for us to go to after I claim him. We're planning to go tomorrow, tonight is his mens group so won't be able to go, but I am hoping to do some painting now my white has finally arrived! Going to redo the background on the huge one, and if I have time do the backgrounds on a couple of the little ones.
Must have been exclusive of VAT I guess as it was in £s, plus if it was in euros that would make it cheaper not more expensive wouldn't it?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

It certainly sounds like VAT as it works out at 15%. I like the way you said you reclaim NIM at the end of the day.
Teeside park can be down round the back of Stockton to save touching the A19 especially on a evening.0
