Silverfish freak me out! I think it's because I don't really know what they are - I remember going into the kitchen of a student house one night, turning on the light and just seeing all these flashes of silver just wriggle out of sight - gross!
Well done on the weight loss girls! Especially 3lbs Tete! I've lost one lowly pound, but I'm hitting the gym with a vengeance this week. Got a friend's wedding in 3 weeks (I know I've left it a little late) and I'd love my dress to be a bit looser as it pushes my boobs up rather a lot (not very appropriate in church really). I don't want to have to buy another dress! Well I do, but you know what I mean...LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
NIMs fine today, back at work and everything. And I'm loving playing housewife/painter. I'd made NIM a lunch, tidied everywhere, done the dishwasher, hoovered the house, cleaned down the kitchen and fed the animals all before 9.30am, I've been drawing out this huge oil painting I want to do since then, I've made a proper lunch of cous cous, vegetable tart and salad with diet coke for a 'sugar' fix, got the groceries delivered and unpacked them all, and in about 2 hours I'm going to make some of Twinks hobnobs and some chocolate cupcakes for the girls this evening and NIMs lads tomorrow to go with the cheesecake I made last night. And NIM will have a homemade dinner to come home to (before he gets banished upstairs to do competitions when the girls are over!).
Speaking of which, my handheld electric whisk sheered itself in two last night! Only had it about a year and its a decent Morphy Richards one, so not chuffed with that!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Wow what a busy day already Dinah! I love playing housewife too, find it really satisfying. Glad NIM is feeling better.
Tete - the roller disco was actually in Southampton so can't claim it as another cool London thing hehe. It is indeed a disco while on rollerscates. Slightly scary especially when you have been drinking. Loads of fun though.0 -
Dinah, you're a domestic goddess!! Cupcakes, cheesecake AND hobnobs?!?! Nomnom, I'm just 'tucking in' to my very low-cal dinner of philadelphia light and cup-a-soup
Poddle I'm never sure about silverfish either, I think it's just because they're called 'fish', only ever seen them about three times and I find them quite fascinating. Good girl keeping hold of the dress you've got, I bought a new dress off ebay for a christening this weekend but of course it doesn't fit so was a big fat waste of money. I don't think anything I've bought on ebay has ever fit... I'm confused about your sig too, how come you've crossed everything out?
Wendz I can imagine it's a bit scary after a drink yikes! A girl I work with does something called Roller Derby, you can watch videos of it on youtube and it's basically just a load of women on skates smashing into each other, it's really brutal!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Yep, you really are a domestic goddess! I love the cooking, baking, decorating and having fresh flowers in the house, but I really have to force myself to do the cleaning - I'll never make housewife of the year
Roller derby, eh? Sounds quite entertaining! I haven't yet had the courage to do the whole roller-blading-along-the-seafront thing as I think I'd probably do harm to myself (and quite possibly other people!) even when sober. But it's definitely on my things to do before I'm 30 list. That's why they have helmets and knee pads isn't it? And elbow pads, wrist guards, ankle supports...
PS Meant to say well done to Lara on saving up for your uni fees! It's getting close and quite possibly even more interesting than editing out people's moles!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hey roller derby and roller disco sound amazing! Shades of youth club are coming over me... I think Wendz is cool, not London.
Thanks Poddle, I forgot to update the sig in a while. And today I got my grubby little hands on a massive wage cheque, so I can add another £400 to the total when it clears. MSs really helped so much. Thanks for getting me started you lot.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Girls can't make it tonight, does anyone know what to do with their own body weight in cupcakes and hobnobs?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Send them my way I am sure i can find some way to dispose of them hehe.
They had protective stuff at the place but no-one wore it. The walls were padded but there were quite a lot of dents in the parts of the wall that weren't haha.0 -
Simple - Send them over to me!
Or, spend the night watching a movie with NIM stuffing your faces like there's no tomorrow - or at least like there's no weigh in on Sunday0 -
Hi girls! Back to Chorley for me, I'm learning to drop my E's now and everything! (Curful thur!)
How cool are you Wendz, roller disco??? Fun! I've heard of that Roller Derby Tete (only because it was in an episode of 'Psych'!) and it looks awesome yet so brutal! I'd have to wear full body protection if I was to don a pair of rollerskates!
I lost a pound last week, but like Tete I think that was just 'ladies bloating' anyway! I've been for a swim tonight though and swam until I was tired and plan on doing so all week!
I'm very impressed with your domestic goddess-ness Dinah! Fancy popping over to see me with some of those spare cupcakes?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0
