MS really isn't scary, I admit I found it daunting at first, but most jobs don't make you do anything unnatural, and you can turn down any you don't want to do.

I'll admit MB involves laying money down at front therefore is pretty scary!

Do you do the free scratchcards? How about online surveys? If you like music you can be paid to rate tracks at slicethepie, or if you like writing get paid for writing reviews at dooyoo.

Lol I think you started a bit early on the May challenge Lara - it's still April!

See how efficient I am?! :rotfl:

Good day - Got extra overtime for May = extra £200
Bad day - Wage £100 less than expected this month

    I'm still £100 up!

Things are starting to kick in with work now, some really cool projects, so feeling good today. Plus got free lunch - so cool working for restaurants.

Will post you up the really cool link this evening for venues Birdie - although sounds like you're quite sorted. L x x

I have the best boyfriend ever. He just came home from work and went straight out again to take mum her blood pressure tablets at work as she forgot them today and is feeling ill without them, then hes coming back home to quickly change before his interview. What a sweetie!

Farm screwed him on wages, he's on 8p an hour less than he should be, and they paid him for 2hours less than he worked!

Erm, I erm, may have just taken a MS job in Northallerton on Saturday to offset some of the petrol money when I go down for the meet... I think DFW might be becoming a mindset!

Great to meet you Jacey. MSE and the people on it have been a huge force in clearing my debts and I hope it'll be instrumental in getting the bag from in the cupboard onto ebay!

Spent a tad more than planned on the Harajuku girl perfume, they didn't have it in Superdrug but I was really looking forward to getting it so I nipped over to boots at got it for £12.23 which isn't too bad! Went the longer route on the way back for added exercise.

Bless NIM! Thats a pain about his wages, some people might argue 8p isn't that much but it sure adds up!

I think I've finally got OH on board with MSE ways, he seems actually excited over the month budget and paid his CC off this morning :j Just his OD to go now but if he keeps up like this I think it'll be paid of quickly.

You're in a DFW state of mind Dinah! Well done on getting the MS job though, I wouldn't of even thought of that!!

Lol it just popped up, got NIM one for the same company for the following saturday as he's already on a run in the area for some bookies. I didn't go looking for it but I saw the town (first one I've ever seen there) and the date and thought 'ooooh, I'm there then!'

Good thinking about the MS on Saturday Dinah, day off??? Never! That sucks about NIM's wages though, hope it gets sorted soon!
Good news about your OH Cinny, he'll be DF in no time, and it seems like he's seen the light! Has he got Martin's name right now or does he still think he's called Martin Sheen?!?!

Hi Everyone, have been in a very boring meeting all morning and got backk to work at 2 and had to rush about like a mad thing, but have had a lovely ten minutes to catch up on the three pages of thread :)

TPA, I'll join the non-teasing brigade so it comes as a lovely surprise when he DOES pop the question ;) OK sorry, that's the last of it.

Lara, glad you're feeling better now, how scary!! Sorry about the scholarship- does that mean then that because you haven't got the it, that you won't be able to do the course that your proposal was accepted for? It's a shame but things do happen for a reason, you never know what's around the corner!

NIM, so glad to hear about your day of being pooped on - I want to know animal breeds please! (Will have to find out which farm you work at, I'm partial to a day on the farm :D)

I was laughing at your spinal flu too Cinny, bless you! Sounds worse than swine flu!!

Erm, that's all I have to say really, going to see if I can find a recipe for lemon cakes as I fancy a spot of baking...
