Oooh, good luck NIM for the interview! And yay for the bigger paycheck Cinny! And yay for the free day off work Dinah! Good news all round! My good news is that I get to go to hospital in 30 minutes... hang on, that's not fun!!! Have to show the physio woman by 'bag of bones' feet again and tell her how I'm getting on... I've forgotten to do my exercises for weeks, oops!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Lara, I knew what you meant, ignore the dirty minded children! LOL!
I stayed well away from Embarrassing Bodies last night, I learned my lesson last week; I've only just recovered!
I feel very special that I had my own NIM Mega post! Thank you!
ETA: Good news about the affordable wedding venues Lara! I just got an e-mail from a Castle in South Wales offering 'free' weddings off season/ during the week if you fancy going up to Wales for the day?
Its not Caldicot castle is it? My brother wants to get married there?Still not managing to get worked up about Swine Flu, no matter how much Radio 1s news people keep going on about it! I did though, for a whole day, believe it was called spinal flu.

My good news is that I get to go to hospital in 30 minutes... hang on, that's not fun!!!
Unless it's a old school doctor who gives you a lollipop, or even better. A sticker!
I'd say 'have fun' but having people poking my feet would be my last idea of it! What problems is it you have with your feet? for some reason I thought it was your knees!
Weather is awful again today, At least it isn't raining I suppose!!

To make it worse people let me call it Spinal Flu a few times before correcting me, hmph!0 -
My problem is from my knees down to my toes, somehow the muscles aren't properly developed so everything is just kind of rattling around in there and when I walk a lot or kneel it hurts- like an old lady! And I won't even get a lollipop, at least I didn't get one last time! I used to get stickers from my dentist, but I've changed to a new one and no stickers! OH made me laugh yesterday, as he was coming out of the ward to leave he had 4 female physios following him all the way making sure he was walking properly on his crutches and not cheating!
TPA, the castle is called Craig-y-Nos Castle, between Swansea and Brecon. Too far for me to go!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Swinstie - i think overpayment of loans varies, some charge you for making over payments, others dont, you would need to find out from the company i would guess
Sorry Flower, just noticed you replied to my question also- oops! Well I checked with A&L about my loan, I can't make any over-payments, so gonna have to save up some more. Worked out can be debt free in 17 months (started 7 months ago), could be less but unfortunately the mortgage needs to be paid first. My target is 518 days, so double that of your achievement Dinah. Gonna have a read at your old diary for some more tips, Sept 2010 debt free (I hope)!

Hope it goes well at the doctors Birdie!
As for dentist stickers my mum, at the ripe age of 46, pesters and still comes home proudly wearing a sticker! I remember they used to be massive with Tom and Jerry on.
Swinstie - Sept 2010 for you DFD? That's pretty close! I bet you can't wait!
Spent far too long doing a dooyoo review, now I have too much work backed up to do before I go home. Woops!0 -
Ahh, the curse of the internet Cinny; I've still got a job on my desk that should have been done first thing and I'm still only about a quarter of the way through it, I keep finding other 'important' things to do online!
It isn't often I have money news but I do today! I made a super 40th birthday card for a colleague's daughter and I was going to charge £5-£7 for it (It's a big accordian style card with 9 'pages' that have been decorated front and back so quite a big job!) but the lady told me to order £10 worth of Avon stuff as she's an Avon lady (Ding Dong!) so I've got a load of stuff I wanted to try but couldn't be bothered to buy!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Hey Dinah.. I need some of your ability to make money, have started a new diary and have set myself a mini-challange to find an extra £118pm to clear some small debts. I don't have much to ebay/amazon etc but I am willing to try most things. MS scares me as does MB but willing to consider other things....
I'm trying to magic up some baked beans to have with our tea tonight without spending any money!!! :rotfl: funnily enough it hasn't worked yet!!"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke
