Gargh. NIM got an email from his insurance company a month ago, sent to an account he does not use any more, and he told them not to use as a contact point. They are saying they are paying the full claim to the other driver as they believe him to be at fault. NIM stated he was informing them of the accident for information purposes only, and we may choose to settle the claim ourselves, and not to pay out without speaking to him, which they did not do.
They also say my NCB will be affected on a completely seperate policy - gonna have to go find a car insurance board to post on me thinks!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I hate the horrible warm air on the tube at the best of times but summertime is horrible! How's OH's job going?! Did he enjoy it yesterday?

I'm worried our Cinny is going to stop posting now - don't leave us, we'll love you even if you do become spendy!
Of course I'm going to carry on posting! You all need someone to make you feel better when you do spend. Like Tete with her £2.99 meal deal, she can feel less guilty knowing I went in to Sainsburys for a bottle of diet coke, came out with 12 cans, 2 boxes of hair dye and some veet  tum te tum. but i did need it all, and they were the best prices i've seen!
Wendz - Glad your OH is enjoying his policeness! I can imagine how horrible it must be on the tubes. Will you be able to properly start looking for a house now?
One question.... Where's Birdie?!0 -
Aye I wondered about where Birdie has got to too. I actually think its better to get the cans than the expensive single bottle - so long as you don't drink all 12 at once of course!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Helloo helloo
Just got back from our hols in Cornwall. It was so lovely to be out of the beach, camping was great we made a big fire and cooked jacket potatoes and sausages on sticks. Went out for a lovely meal. Then we headed further down to Newquay to see my sis who was over from Copenhagen. My little niece is so amazingly adorable at the moment, she seriously melted the hearts of OH and I with her antics.
Rubbish to be back in London, it's a sweat-box! Had a few stressy calls from work and a million voicemails but just ignoring that little lot until tomorrow morning .... We spend lots of money as well £140 train tickets, £95 tent, £80 meals out, £25 petrol and the rest. So it will be a very frugal rest of the month. x x:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
OH is enjoying it so far, hasnt done much yet but has been given the area he is working in and stuff.
Dinah - That is so annoying about the car thing, they should have rang or something.
Cinny - we need his contract first, but no sign of that yet and dont worry about your spends, you deserve to buy yourself a few things!
Lara - sounds like a fab holiday! Ahh aren't little girls cute, how old is she? We saw OHs nieces sat and i love them both so much, was holding the baby while she slept..was feeling just a but broody! Good luck with the frugal rest of the month0 -
I keep expecting the broodyness I had two years ago to come back but it actually seems to be lessening rather than anything else, which is a bit concerning.
One of my parents slightly odd friends has come over and for some reason has started to do the dishwasher and clean the kitchen. His missus is on holiday without him, think he gets lonely, but its still odd!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hello all
Dinah don't go to that resturant you mentioned...I did an MS there, always loved it before, but the service and food was dreadful, readin between the lines on the MS board lots of people had the same experience as me...very strange that a lot of the franchises seem to have dropped their standards over the past few months.
Hows the cat?

We've gone to our one up here a few times and its always been great, but its a franchise isn't it?
Shes dandy, the antibiotics really pulled her around, although today she doesn't want to know you unless you're bearing food!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
