That doesn't sound too nice at all Dinah, hope you're feeling better soon.

Well I have a grand total of £2 in my bank account. All my DDs came out this week, and it wasn't helped by having to buy new hair extensions and dye them, have another set to do tomorrow after work too  But still, by friday my hair and 'my' hair shall look loverly.

That's fab Wendz!! Like Dinah said, that's pretty far under too! Well done :j

ETA: It's the start of a new month and I really want to get my new savings plan in full swing. Problem is my mum is refusing to take the £350 for OHs laptop and get it paid off for me, I don't know why she's being so stubborn but it's a pain trying to sort things out and thinking I have more money than I do!
Like looking at my saver now I have £600 in it, but *really* only £250. It's a massive dip!

Hi flower - glad you had a great time!

Cinny - why won't your mum take the money back?

    Because she's a ruddy fruitcake! :D

Flower - Glad you had a lovely holiday, did you get things sorted about moving in with your OHs folks?

Yea we had a long chat about the whole move, and things seem to be looking pretty good about it. So now we just have to decide on a date etc...

Did you do your cake stall in the end?

Yes will be great how much money it saves us.
If it were down to me i would hand the notice in on our flat now! But we have to be realistic, OH needs work to sort him out a transfer etc...

I am slightly worried by OH, he has been doing washing, ironing and washing up... think this police training must be having a good influence

Feeling better now. NIM spent the first half of the evening rummaging in my craft box (scary stuff), then he spent the next hour making something with rubber stamps and glue. He's just presented me with an envelope, very nicely decorated, and inside is a homemade voucher entitling me and my mum to a £200 shopping spree, + lunch this saturday! Also some smushy romantic stuff written on the bottom :p

Also, our 20p coin just sold for £190! Very, very pleased. Great start to the £20 a day challenge considering its only the 1st!

What started out as an appauling day has turned out very nicely.
