Morning everyone, glad you're feeling better now Dinah and great news about the 20p! Speaking of annoying ebay, I've had two people out of 8 not pay up yet grr! But you daren't leave bad feedback because you'll get it back.
Ooh, shopping spree, you're always saying how you never spend any money on yourself so make the most of it! Have you got anything in mind? Must have a go at those cupcakes. We tried blueberry muffins again at the weekend after reading tips on how to get them to rise - double the baking powder and they were really really light and not at all muffiny, and tasted of ... baking powder! Back to the drawing board with that one!
Been super uber busy at work this weekBut early finish today and off to stay with friends in Derbyshire, Alton Towers tomorrow (2for1 natch
) and general eating drinking and relaxing all the way. Weather doesn't look too clever mind, hope the heat keeps up.
How's everyone?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Morning everyone,
The altons towers weekend sounds good Tete! I have never been up there.
We had a bit of a distaster last night with the pipe that comes out the bathroom wall into the toilet cistern burst and we had water gushing everywhere, was dripping into downstairs flat. Managed to stop it but had no water. Luckilly had already had shower and OH managed to get me a cup of water to clean my teeth with. Landlords coming today to sort it.
Apart from that myself and OH have been having talks about this house things. He has been given his area now that he will be working in and is Brent , which is north west London. If he has a shift starting at 6am , is going to be a nightmare for him to get to work. We are now thinking we need to either buy a house nearer where he will work, although I think they may be more expensive north or maybe rent a couple more years. Going to have a look at the different options. If we move North my sister probably won't live with us so we will need a cheaper mortgage. I am thinking a flat might be an option now.0 -
Morning everyone, pretty slow at work this morning!
Tete - When that happened with me I sent them emails after a week saying if they didn't pay within 5 days I'd be relisting, then I made a point of putting time scales for paying on the listings! That's fab about the coin Dinah, did you see the one someone listed for 20k?!
It's so hot today! Need to go into town after work but it's going to be so busy I'd rather stay at home and slowly turn myself pink! Jealous my sister has this week off, admittedly it's because she's jobless atm, but still!
Been cheeky and looked online at Topshops sale, but thankfully it keeps coming up with an error page so I'm not tempted by cheap dresses. I've seen the new Tee and Cake long shirts though - Sid James and Kenneth Tees! Would look so nice (not to mention cool) with leggings and sandals.. I will not buy.. I will not buy.. *walks off mumbling*0 -
Ooh, Topshop have a sale on?! I'm currently watching a rather lovely tea dress on ebay, finishes in 20 mins - but do I really wanna pay over £20 for something from George which probably only cost that in the first place?! Christening to go to in August though, hmm...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Hi everyone!
Wow on the 20p Dinah! Sounds like your day picked up very nicelyand a shopping spree to boot!
I'm enjoying my last week of freedom before I start work - OH has had the week off so we're officially 'on holiday' so we're being a bit spendy, but making sure we take bottles of water and snacks everywhere so we don't have to buy them when we're out...
We went to Thorpe Park on Tuesday with a 2for1 (snap, Tete!) which was loads of fun, but can't believe it was so expensive - thought it would be about £25 to get in, but it was £35! God bless 2 for 1, eh? Btw, Tete, I would highly recommend getting fast track tickets for some of the big rides - I was reluctant to pay extra at first, but when we walk straight to the front of a 90 minute queue it's well worth it! Must be what it's like for the rich and famous. *sigh*
Think it might be another spendy day today as we're headed into London - in theory just to have a wander which will be fine as long as we don't wander near Oxford StreetCinny, I saw those shirts too! Very cool! Luckily I couldn't wear one as I'm too short and I'd look like a fat little midget :rotfl:
Oh Wendz, sounds like a pain about the water! As long as you've got a good landlord to fix it for you - you'll miss that when you get your own place!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Hi Poddle - lovely weather for your last week of freedom, lucky you! Yeah I was looking at the fast track things but they seemed quite expensive on top of the £36 entry (well, £18) - not sure whether end of term school trips will be in full swing yet, but if so might be worth it ...
I won the dress, it's lovely.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
