I'd be pressing my feet into the floor looking for the brake pedal!!
OH does that to me all the time, it's so annoying! Then he'll drive my car and go, 'oh wow the brakes are really good on this aren't they?' - which is why I don't need to brake as early as he thinks I should! :rolleyes:Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I do the break thing when I'm in OHs car, winds him up too Tete! His car makes some amazing sounds though,we have a constant wheel squeek, one that sounds like a woman screaming (checked the boot, he hasn't kidnapped anyone) Ooh, the other day I heard a 'woop woop' kind of one. His car is falling apart inside too, that's got to be a sign to get a new car right?!
Just rang up the guy about homestudy and cancelled, feels like one step back in a way but I've found something much better suited with OU for an accounts newbie. So I'm going to do that in Nov and the guy from homestudy is going to call me back next year and we can go from there. On the brightside, I've got tomorrow afties free.0 -
The OU sounds like a good step forward Cinny, since then you can do it at a time to suit you and not clash with the other office girl.
Today is going so slowly, I think I'm going to clock off a bit early, so I get home shortly before NIM, and I can sort out the things we need to ebay tonight so when he gets back its a simple 'photograph, describe, list' process.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

OU sounds like a good idea Cinny, I was looking at doing a French OU course but I'm not sure I trust myself to actually sit down and do all of the work, I have major motivational issues!
Our phones went down at 4 so I'm been having a nice skive! Everyone is getting a bit panicked about it and worrying about getting them fixed... I'm thinking, 'Cool! No work!'. Only 10 minutes left... think I can fit in another quick game of Mahjong!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Can't believe they haven't let you all go home Birdie!!
I agree with Dinah Cinny that the OU course sounds good with its flexibility.
Just had an email to say I have a place in the fencing taster session!! Eek! 1st JulyJust about to head off now, need to get my ebay head on for tonight, realistically how long should it take to list 12 items? I'm going to say 1 1/2 hours, wish me luck!

Good luck Tete. Great news about the fencing, should be great fun!
We're aiming for 30 ebay items tonight, unfortunately I just want to nap!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Saw today in London paper that one of the England footballers is getting married at hampton court palace Saturday and the wedding reception I am going to is at the golf course, just down from it. Maybe i could sneak over into the other wedding for a bit of celeb spotting haha0 -
Thanks Wendz, three down, eight to go here - and I've been going an hour already! Described one skirt so well I ended up scrapping the listing and putting it back in the wardrobe!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Good luck with your listings! I got mine on about 6ish, they don't seem to be charging me though?!
Trying to throw together some spreadsheets (just found excel on this computer!) I don't like it, keeps on telling me I have no money. Must be going wrong somewhere :rolleyes:0 -
I have exactly the same problem Cinny, i am sure my money is hiding somwhere!
Tete- that is funny you made your skirt sound so good you wanted it back. Sort of thing I would do0
