Oooh, multiquotes a-gogo!
I had a night off from the gym last night, I was tired out from my day of being an idiot magnet and my legs were killing me from Tuesday's gym session! We went to Debenhams to check out the 50% off sale and it was rubbish, I want a new purse and of course the only ones I liked were full price, same with all of the dresses etc I liked! OH needed some new sunglasses as I broke his on Saturday (oops!) but he couldn't find any he liked... I ended up just getting a little smelly giftset for £2.50 to go in SIL's christmas box! Bit of a wasted trip!
I've just spoken to my Dad and confirmed that I'm taking him to the Thackray Museum on Sunday for Father's Day, OH doesn't know this yet! I made both Father's Day cards last night so that's a weight off my shoulders!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Well done on winning Tete, although I think I'd be panicking about whether they were going to let me in or not!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Yeah, I don't think I'll bother with it to be honest! Specially with Spanish beaurocracy, or lack of, they'll have no idea who I am! Might put it in my sig thoughWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

That is really annoying about the compeitition Tete. I had one a while back that was a scam for a premiere of a film and has made me suspicious since. Wouldnt be good if you paid all the money and couldnt get in.
I know what you mean about spending all evening getting ready for next day and then doing reviews etc. It literally takes me till bedtime arghhh!
I got an e-mail this morning saying i am getting full 30 quid for phone that i sent, wasnt sure if i would as had a button missing (wasnt an important one), that will be a good boost to the 5 pounds a day challenge though when the cheque comes.0 -
Yay, brill news about the phone, reminds me I must send mine off today. The other one I have has a broken screen so the most I'll get for it is £10 (rather than £30), although some things I've read say that that's too much damage and I won't get anything so will have to wait and see. Can't get motivated to work at all this morning!! It's because I twinge every time I move!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Ooh, that festival looks fab Tete. I'd be warey to go too though.
I haven't worked out how much I need to save yet, nor do I really want too! It will be a big scary number that will give me a belly ache. I'm hoping GMTV send me a nice cheque for 10k..
Birdie - At least you got something, so not a fully wasted trip. Well done with the cards though! I've decided to be cheeky with my Dad and get him the Madness album for fathers day as I can use my HMV card so it's ''free'', as was the card I made last night. Feeling guilty for not spending anything but kind of chuffed I've managed to do it!
I've been thinking about starting my own diary on here for the past week while I'm paying my parents off as I'm spread really thinly money wise. Just typed it up but I'm scared to post it now!
ETA: That's fantastic about the phone Wendz!! I was up to 11:30 last night doing all my things (admittedly 1 thing was to watch last weeks Mitchell and Webb Look..)
Just got an email that I've sold another book. That's 3 this week!0 -
Well done on the book Cinny!
Don't worry about posting your diary! I don't have many people write in mine and i don't write in it often either... but i do find it useful to get my head around all I am doing!0 -
Whoop whoop to selling another book Cinny! If you post a diary make sure you don't forget to come on here too!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

I didn't know you had a thread Wendz, I've subscribed now!
Thanks, I'm in book shock as it took me 5 months to sell 3 books last year. And I wish I was exaggerating!0 -
A diary is really motivational Cinny, one thing I learnt at the start is if you post regularly you'll get more readers, and you'll be more motivated.
Speaking of which, we're at pg137 girlies, I think I'm going to have to come up with a phase 3 in the next month or two!
I honestly have no idea how much money is in my ISA! I know it's over £600, but it could be £700 or it could be £1500! Mine should be filled by the end of August, hopefully sooner if we keep hitting the £20 a day challenge (this month looks ropey!). I also don't know how much is kicking around in the 'secret' big W fund, but it's a lot less, somewhere between £200-£300 I think.
NIM and I are having an ebay evening tonight, aiming for 30 items, although he's insanely quick at doing them, so might push to a bit more, we'll see.
Anyone have any ideas of how I can convince my brother to get a summer job? He thinks now he's finished his A-levels it's 4 months of holiday until uni, to ride his bike, however my parents are really worried how they will afford his uni in september. He's a good lad, I think if he knew how tight things are he would get a job, but mum doesn't want him to worry, and she doesn't think its fair to ask him to contribute to his fees when I didn't. However I think that asking my 76 year old grandad to remortgage to pay the fees and she pays him back as and when she can is much more unfair. Ideas please?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
