You're welcome to it Tete, although beware that with it comes the curse! I had to speak to a woman this morning about some doors she was supposed to be sending to Lisburn in N.I. and she kept saying 'Lisbon? In Portugal?'... 5 minutes later she still thought I was talking about Portugal and I decided it was time to give it up as a bad job!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

Got my amazon parcel and Musicmagpie dvds sent off this afternoon too, so that's an extra £10 'made' today. Got some brownies in the oven too to say thanks to my Uncle for doing the CBT for free, quite happy cause I was worried I wouldn't be able to bake this week.Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »En Garde!!
Ooh, fencing would be fab Tete. Hope someone decides they don't like the smell of the face masks or something and drops out so you can do it!he'd rather wait and download it
Tsk tsk! I hope not illegally
I feel totally guilty with those 'don't download' adverts. Going to see Transformers Sunday though.Anyhoo, that's why you shouldn't exercise every day, because your muscles heal and develop on your rest days.
Also your body keeps on burning fat for up to a day after you exercise.
Freakin' loving this multiquote!:D
Hope you've all had a nice day even with the horrible weather.0 -
Phew, glad work is over!
Really looking forward to the weekend. My friend is coming over from Japan - I haven't seen him in two years so I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully some nice drinks in town and some dinner.
Last night we went out flyering with friends for their festival. It's called UkeFest and it's all about ukeleles (sp?). Sounds like fun, they are going to try to break the world record for the most number of uke players playing the same song.
So Tete you're doing Transformers! I had Bumblebee when I was a kid, so I was really pleased to see the first one. But the storyline was so cheesy! The special effects look crazy in this new version.
Pilchard I watched There Will Be Blood and I thought it was one of the best films in years. The start is really intense but it's so good at the end. Last weekend we went to see that film Synechdoche, which was great too.

Tete I am excited about dress just feel guilty about it costing a bit more , does look nice though. Might try it on with shoes and bag later and see how it looks!
OH got his stuff through for starting the police in a week and a half. Am getting all excited, think he is too but doesn't show it as much as me0 -
Grrr, Amazon have clearly been taking lessons off ebay on how to make life harder for sellers. Now you won't get paid until you have shipped an item - smart!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That is annoying I guess it is to make people post thing quick.
Just tried on dress again with shoes and bag and do love it. Shoes have a couple of marks on them so trying to clean them up a bit0 -
hey girlies, i haven't posted for a while but I am here and I have been reading!
I've been doing some temping this week and I think I'll be there next week too but I hate it so much and the money is aweful and there are no good people there and moan moan moan and I wanted to work on sunday for some more money for the £5 a day challenge but everyone else wants to do sat not sun so if I go, I'll be n my own I think in a scary warehouse thing.... I'm not sure!
I don't even get paid fr the work this week untill a week on friday and I've been so bad with the savings challenge I tried Dinah, think it was not putting it in my sig that baffled me! Anyways I'm going to decide on a new one tomorrow I think and post it up and in the sig and actually try to do it!
I have a trial day on sat to for a job I really want so all please, fingers etc crossed on sat!!
I need to pay off my credit card for the first time today but I don't really know how! I want t do it online but I dont know if I go on 'pay a bill' or 'pay another person' and then what do I put for the account numbers etc?! very wierd! Its wil halifax and I'm banking with lloyds if anyone can help!
I have been a very good girl and have persuaded my OH to help me to list 23 (I think) things n ebay, mostly courtesty of my over flowing wardrobe! I hope most of the things sell! I don't seem to have much luck! plus I am going to try and list about 10 more tomorrow and persuade him to list about 10 of his things too!! Might need some magic persuading dust...
I baked tday Cinny too! I made vegan chewy banana raisen flapjacks and they were scrummy!! Taking some for lunch tomorro I think!
Anyway! In work fr half 7 so i gotta go I guess!
Check in tomorrow xx0 -
The banana flapjacks sound yummy Tink! Sounds like you're getting the hours in temping too, I know it mustn't be too nice but at least its something! Is there no way you could convince someone to do a shift Sunday? I can't help with the credit card payments though, sorry! Can't you ring your bank and ask for help?
I really dislike this being an 'adult' lark. I seem to be constantly doing something or on the phone to someone, I miss my afternoons off being filled with basic nothingness and kids tv. Just as I thought I got to the bottom of my to do list I find another 5 things that need doing. Finished my Dads Fathers day card, so I guess that makes it 4!As long as I have them cleared for Horrible Histories tomorrow I'll be a happy Cinny.
ETA: Morning everyone! Just editing to post my new list for today and tomorrow to keep me motivated.

EATA: Added my pitiful looking ISA onto my sig too. Want to get this filled up by the end of the year, but not a clue how I'll manage that.
I'll stop editing now!0 -
Morning everyone! Multiquote alert!Just tried on dress again with shoes and bag and do love it. Shoes have a couple of marks on them so trying to clean them up a bit
Good girl for not just trotting off for new shoes! Glad you like the dress!I need to pay off my credit card for the first time today but I don't really know how! I want t do it online but I dont know if I go on 'pay a bill' or 'pay another person' and then what do I put for the account numbers etc?! very wierd! If you have your CC statement/bill there should be loads of info on the back of how to pay - over the phone, by cheque or online. All the account numbers etc should be there. I think it'll be 'pay a bill' - it'll probs let you save the details too to make it quicker next time.I really dislike this being an 'adult' lark. I seem to be constantly doing something or on the phone to someone.
I know, I always feel I'm on the hamster wheel, by the time I've come in from work, made tea, eaten tea, made packed lunch for next day and washed up it's about 8pm, so if I want to do any reviews/ebaying I don't get finished til at least 10 and seem to have no time to relaxThen after a few hours in bed you find yourself back at your desk like groundhog day!
Well done on passing the CBT :T and wow to trying to fill that ISA - have you worked out how much you'll need to save per week to do it? I still have about 1.5k allowance left til April but TBH I can't see me doing it with all the holidaying I'm doing!:D
I'm ACHING this morning, esp across the top of my chest from the press-upsbut had an ace night just spending time with OH last night so feeling all zen. No more of my to-do list done but I plan on making lots of headway today. Dad's book arrived yest but Cinny you've given me the idea of making him a CD for in the car so I'll have to think of some songs and try and get that done later.
Lara, that Ukelelelelele festival sounds brill!!! Are you going? (I did multiquote this but it left you out!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Just had an email:
"Congratulations!
You have won a pair of three day passes (incl camping) to the Bilbao BBK Live Festival.
Full details of the festival can be found on our website www.bilbaobbklive.com.
Please present a valid ID (passport, ID card or driving licence) at the festival box office and please note that passes are not transferible.
Thanks for entering Easyjet competitions.
We hope you enjoy the music!"
So I'm supposed to haul myself to Bilbao, complete with tent etc, and just assume they're going to let me in?! Why oh why couldn't I have won a proper holiday somewhere, complete with flights and hotel, and some kind of definite confirmation?!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
