Ok I won't panic then! Would be good if we can start looking though. It is good that there are more houses and less buyers for me anyway.0

What's 'dead cat bounce'? I've never heard it before, don't like it!

Good news that you may be able to start looking soon though Wendz!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
A dead cat bounce is a term used by traders in the finance industry to describe a pattern wherein a spectacular decline in the price of a stock is immediately followed by a moderate and temporary rise before resuming its downward movement, with the connotation that the rise was not an indication of improving circumstances in the fundamentals of the stock. It is derived from the notion that "even a dead cat will bounce if it falls from a great height".
Don't you love wikipedia for saying things so much more eloquently than you would ever be capable of yourself?!

Oh yuk, that's horrible! But thank you for the explanation, makes sense!
Just been on RE and they have a job near me but it's all about going into a mobile shop and asking about the parental controls on the phones, seems a bit complicated for a first MS didn't bother! I wanted a nice cuppa in Starbucks or something!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Sadly I've never seen Starbucks with any company. The majority of MS jobs require you to ask difficult questions, as you need to 'test' the staff competancy as it were. Some of these are easy ('what side dish does that come with', some are bleeding ridiculous. That one does seem to be on the more extreme end mind! Oddly that job didn't show up for NIM or myself, think we're in RE's bad books!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That's the only one that's shown up within about 5 miles for me so far! Still, I'll hold out for something a bit easier!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

RE used to be my favourite company but they are way down the list now, site crashes too much, glitches in the reports and non existant fees. ABA-i are my new fav!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I'm worried about my MS at the end of the month. Was reading through the questions last night and it's things like 'Did he look like he'd shaved this morning' Cripes! I'm going to be too busy assessing peoples stubble to remember what I need to order. All I know is, I get a free Pimms cup.
Dead cat bounce is a really weird saying Dinah! I did read something that said people who are tempted to buy now should wait as things will get cheaper next year? That's fab news though Wendz, you must be so excited!
Just got some good news though, works have picked up majorly in the company so we're able to bring back some of the guys who were layed off! :j
ETA: How on earth do you find jobs on Aba-i Dinah? I can't work my way around the site to save my life!0 -
Oh the site is an utter nightmare I'll grant you. The concept of having to 'add on' clients is rubbish!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
