Okay someone techie please, how do I make a formula in excel to add up column B22 through to B86 because if I have to type them in individually I might cry!
Oh and if I want to literally copy a number from one cell to another ie total for building costs is in C1 and total for professional fees is in C23 and total for management costs is in C55, and I want them all neatly at the bottom as well in C60, C61 and C22 is there a formula to copy these totals, as I need the neat totals to update if the totals throughout the sheet change.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hi Dinah,
For the first bit, try typing =SUM(B22:B86)
I'm not quite sure what you're wanting to do for the second bit. Do you want the value in C1 also in C60? If so, type =C1 in the C60 cell.
HTH,
SB

Too late to help you Dinah but I am getting OK at excel as use it all the time at work, so if you need help in the future.
Lara - sound slike you have had a hard time. At least is all back to normal now. Sometimes you do get unexpected costs and that can't be helped.
I have had a good day. We are back in Southampton for weekend. Went bowling with OH, his dad, brother and mate and i lost ... then we went to see another of his mates in pub garden. Then we went round his sisters and saw his new niece for the first time. She is so cute, chubby little cheeks. I had a little cuddle. Makes me all broody! We were playing with his other niece who is two as well. I was reading to her and playing 'horsies'. She got upset when we left and decided she wanted to come with us, bless her! Argghh I want one hehe
I am off to my mates tonight for a girly night with a few of my friends. It should be good, am not drinking as am going to pick OH up from town as he is off out0 -
Afternoon all.
Cinny did you have tour cake stall yesterday? How did it go? Or am I confused yet again?:rotfl:
TPAxMFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
Lara - So sorry to hear about your friends Mum, but like everyone has said sometimes you get unexpected costs which can't be helped, but at least you know you've done all you can to make your friend feel better after her loss.
I've had an okay weekend so far, todays plan is to veg out watching back to back Desperate Housewives and 90210 with my sister. Just made £8.25 from musicmagpie, not a lot but it'll help towards my savings target.
Britains got Talent was great last night, I actually hurt my thumb from clapping Stavros Flatley and Flawless so much. OH sempt to enjoy it too, must of been a nice break from all his work last week. Still, I had the face on with him this morning, stood in the kitchen before he went and he said bye to everyone bar me! So I went off in a huff but I'm now feeling silly as I could of easily gone outside (and guessing that's what OH was expecting me to do) to say bye, so trying to think of a way to say sorry.
This weeks spends money is going well, down to £10 now after buying an album off of iTunes. Just need to fill my vespa up on Wednesday for my CBT and that's all I need to buy the rest of the week, so should come in under budget!
ETA: It's in erm, 2 weeks time (I think!) TPA. Thanks for asking thoughReminds me that my cupcake boxes came the other day, all excited now!

I am back in London now. Had to buy more petrol which was 40 quid eek, is going to be very tight rest of the month!
Cinny - only two weeks, that is exciting0 -
It cost me £58 to fill up this week, I nearly cried - it was only about £45 a couple of months ago!
Found the laptop charger, so that's £58 we won't have to shell out, and it also means we can list the two old laptops on ebay tonight!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Cripes! It costs OH £30 to fill up his car atm (little Seat Arosa) I'm worried now the petrol prices are going up, last year I think it was costing us about £40-£45 to fill up. They've been really sneaky pushing it up, last year when it was £1 people were having fits, now no one seems to notice/be so bothered. Just got back from filling my vespa up from 1/4 full though, £4.89 and I can't really complain with it costing people about 10 times that, but it only used to be about £3!
Lara - I was planning on an uber geeky photo of me next to the stall, thumbs up and a big cheesy grin, to show you all. (hoping that cupcake top Birdie found is here in time!) Keep trying to rope OH into helping me, telling him how lovely he'll look in a pinny but he's having none of it.
Just about to put some books on amazon then I'll get some ironing done for Mum.0
