Don't do the GAP burger jobs, they're a nightmare, pure and simple, and enough to put anyone off mystery shopping for life.
So annoyed at myself, we took the cat to the vets with that voucher from last week, and forgot to hand it over - so got charged full price and we didn't even realise!!!!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Evening everyone!
Had a busy day sorting out last minute things for our holiday. Got work tomorrow then we are going straight to OHs parents ready for the flight on Sunday morning. Cant wait!!
God Birdie you have got me all worried about the first MS report i submitted for RE, hope they pay up!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Right, so who's going to try and smuggle in 3 big bags of popcorn?!
My bag is pretty darn big, leave it to me girls! ...well next time me and OH are having a movie fest, don't really want to eat 1 1/2bags of popcorn in 90 minutes.
Well my laptop has almost kicked the bucket, the mouse pad has given in so I can't actually use it for anything  Going to steal one of the spare computer mouses (mice?!) from work monday and see if that helps. Until then I'm on my sisters even more knackered laptop! So much for it lasting until christmas  Will have to get a move on with my laptop fund..
Birdie, good idea about the blinds. I'd be so annoyed by that! Hopefully they won't be so bad once they've moved in and settled. As for getting your OH out of the house this weekend - there are free tickets for Sunshine Cleaning Sunday morning at 11am (I think) the code is on the free tickets thread (I'd post the link but this laptop is so slow) so you can see if they're doing at your cinema.
Dinah - I know it's a pain when you forget vouchers, but atleast your kitty is okay.
Have fun on your holiday Flower, and good luck at your OHs parents!
I'll catch up on monday, when I've hopefully got a half decent computer to use  Have a nice weekend!!0 -
Thats rubbish about your laptop Cinny, ours is still clinging on to life....JUST!! Hoping that we can try n get a chunk of debt paid off before we need to get a new one! Fingers crossed it lasts, maybe the 2 week break will do it good!
Anyway, going to bed ready for work tomorrow, will catch up with you all in two weeks!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Hi All
So glad you enjoyed Paris, Tete - I think hoteliers just take pictures of somewhere random and pretend that it's their hotel! Next time I am going to track down somewhere good and then stay there every trip forever.
Had a mare of a week, everything has been going wrong. My poor friend's Mum passed away so I wanted to go to the funeral to be there for her. She told me late on Monday night it had happened, and I couldn't get hold of her so I rang in work on Tuesday. Then the funeral was on Wednesday, so I had to beg my boss for the day off work and get OH to bring me my passport in work and go straight from work that day. Flights were over £130 aaargh!
Then I discovered that my friend (who I thought was coming to stay with us on Wednesday) was actually coming on Tuesday and there was a tube strike and no-one to pick her up from the station or take her to her conference for the next 2 days (she is blind). Double aaargh! So eventually she found a place with her friends attending the conference and she can claim back the cost through Uni, but I still got the feeling she was NOT impressed. Honestly I felt awful.
So then my friend's ex boyfriend turned up with all his mates to her Mum's funeral (after he had dumped her as soon as her Mum had been diagnosed). Absolutely awful and it just made her even more upset. So I was glaring at them for hours and would've tried to stamp on all their feet if I hadn't been restrained! I was glad I had been able to go after all that, especially as we have known each other since nursery school.
So when I got back to London I got delayed and was too late to meet my friend. Then she thought I had Friday off and I didn't so then I had to beg my boss to have Friday off and he was very annoyed. Luckily I have at least 1,000,000 brownie points in the bag from over the years, so he couldn't refuse. But he gave me a mountain of work to finish off as a condition of my 'bail' so I raced the clock all day and emerged as a sweaty mess after packing an inhumanly large shipment in just 2 hours. A world record!
So my friend and I got to hang out yesterday and we went for a local history walk which was excellent, she was impressed I had planned something that she liked so much. So things are back to normal now. OH had this crazy video shoot on Thursday so he was exhausted (and me too from waiting up half the night for the kit to come back to our house). So I just cooked a big meal last night with chocolate fondant and wine from M and S. Mmmm. And we collapsed in bed by 10:30.
So today we are so pleased to be in the house with no responsibilities whatsoever.
Money saving has taken a big hit, I think I am about £160 over the usual monthly spend, if not more. But what can you do. If you can't plan, doing things cheaply is so hard. I didn't get my ebay crystals posted for 3 or 4 days so sent them out yesterday with an apology, explanation and a couple of freebies, so hopefully my reputation will be intact.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Also RE is a big nightmare, it won't let me self assign any of the pub jobs, so I have written an email. This has happened twice last week and once the week before, so I am really cross, as I really need the money!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0
