    Afternoon everyone

Haven't been on here for a few days so just trying to catch up  So much going on! Glad you had a good break Tete but shame the weather was shocking. Well I've been off sick for 2 days cos my asthma was playing up. The problem with eing off sick, though, is that I noticed loads of things that needed doing so actually spent Wednesday cleaning the bedroom (in between rest periods.....and taking my inhaler!) and yesterday running round (ok, staggering round) getting some shopping and loads of things for the pets. I went to the supermarket with OH to get a few bits and we were randomly checking the ads and saw an ad for 2 Lovebirds that someone was giving away cos he was going into hospital. We went round and collected them but the cage was so filthy I ended up going and buying all new stuff for them - mmmm so not money saving at all then! My 2 dogs think they're lunch so we've had to put the cage on the fridge so they can't be reached!

The good news of the last few days is that Northern Rock have sent some more money and my 0% Virgin CC has kicked in so I'm now staring to pay that off.

Right, off to get some more money coming in from somewhere  xx
Let's start again (really need a kick up the bum now) :wall:

What a random acquisition Pilchard- Lovebirds! They sound nice though, is it getting like Dr Dolittles in your house?!
I like that hat Tete, I think it will look lovely on you! Maybe with your hair up as it's of an era when long hair wasn't poking out of the bottom of cloche hats! And I'm very jealous of your day at the races, it sounds fab!

Ah how nice to have lovebirds Pilchard! They're the little greeny-pinky ones aren't they? My favourite bird of the moment is the Peewit because I love the little feather on top of their heads and the noise they make :) Hope you're feeling better now :( bet you're pleased about NR and the CC!

Yes you're right Birdie I'll have to practise bundling my hair up into a chic chignon or something to go under a hat like that...

Just been on RE and there was one job available - a pub up in South Shields so I won't be doing it - but it was good to be able to read through the assignment notes and questionnaire. God, how detailed!! Checking the male staff members for not having shaved that morning etc etc! I don't know if I'm cut out for MS, I'm far too away with the fairies!!

I know what you mean Tete, I don't think I'm going to ever become a MS extraordinaire, I don't pay enough attention! I've had my MS from the weekend queried and I don't think I'll be paid so it's put me off a bit. They gave me my description from the store's CCTV and I'm described as being a 'lady in her thirties'- THIRTIES??? I'm not happy!

:rotfl: Oh no! I wouldn't want to know anyone's description of me!! What do they query you on? Just to expand on a point or to say 'well actually that's wrong...' because if they know the answers anyway why would they send you? I'll give it a go if something convenient comes up but it does seem a lot of palaver!

Wendz how la-dee-dah are you - choice between going to the Derby or a ball?! Nice for some!! :D

I said that the fries were limp, which they were but apparently that causes a problem because I was not totally complimentary! And then the CCTV says that 'the lady in her thirties' (Grrr!) sat down and filled in paperwork- I had a tiny notebook next to my bag which I had to write the timing points in because my phone erases them as soon as I slide it shut!

Like Lauren from The Hills? http://www.hairpedia.com/hair-styles/Celebrity-Hairstyles-Women/Lauren-Conrad/lauren-conrad-2.jpg Would give it a bit of an edge! I lovelovelove that hat though. Fab news about the races too!

The lovebirds sound sweet Pilchard! They are really pretty. Hope you're feeling better now!

Oh god Birdie, going by the meet pictures you barely look 21! I'd go give them what for! As for the MS, I'm really scared about mine in a few weeks! Printed everything off and I'm so worried I'm going to mess something up.

Went into town and got me and OH some bits for the cinema and only spent about £1.20, much less than the normal £10! Got some more booklets for Florida to pour over later too, need to go get my egg saver forms filled out, and get some books ready to go on amazon. But before that, off to make the carpet fitters a cuppa!

ETA: Just been told there aren't any books to sell on Amazon as Mum went bonkers on RiSi and got rid of our 'don't want' book pile. Ho-Hum. I'm sure there are a few in my room!

Aww, thanks! I did say on my reply that I'm only 24 so 'thirties' was rather insulting!
I like that hairstyle Cinny! I'd love to be able to do stylishly messy chignon-y things with my hair but it always turns out terrible!
And well done on the low cinema treats spend!
I'm trying to think of ways to get OH out of the flat this weekend that won't cost a lot, there are 3 (by the looks of people coming and going all week) families moving in and I'm guessing that it'll be big stuff getting moved in over the weekend and OH is fed up of people tramping back and forth in front of our patio doors, having a good look in each time! Not to mention the fag breaks right outside the doors! If I don't get him outside he mad go mad! They're an ugly looking bunch; OH is gutted that there are no good looking young folk moving in! There's a butch looking lesbian couple, a couple with a 16 year old daughter and a single woman who needs to wear a bra! The single woman works at my place and she's well known for being a gobsh*te so that's good!
