Oh yes, I love a good list!

We're going to see two so we get to pick one each. So I think it'll be The Hangover for OH and either Last House on the Left or Looking for Eric for me! We've been getting sharer or combo meals everytime we go (about £8 a pop!) so we need to stop that. But when OH is constantly going 'Nacho Combo' in my ear like a chiming clock I end up giving in to shut him up
Good idea with listing on Thursdays! I think it's best I do them on Sunday though or I'll just end up putting them off and off and off and.. I think you get the point
Oooh, Britains got Talent tomorrow night! Not a clue who's going, need to take non olbas oil tissues for my mum when Susan Boyle starts singing for her supper though.0 -

Right, jobs for the weekend:

Pay off CC using money in HSBC
Set up standing order to pay back loan to Mum

Take photos for ebay
Clean bathroom
Sort out wardrobe
Sort out stuff to go in desk drawers etc
Make 2 Fathers Day cards and birthday card for MIL

Good lord, it looks like a lot of stuff to do when it's written down!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I'm sure it won't take you too long Birdie. And when everything's ticked off, you'll feel super productive!
Thinking of starting a fund for a new laptop, I could put £10 aside each week for it while I'm paying my parents off, then up it to £30 at the end of July? (plus any money I make from amazon/ebay sales)
Plus when I've reached my July savings goal I'll be dropping payments to £20 a week, so £30 will be able to go into my holiday saver to boost that up. I think I'm properly turning into a Dinah-ette!0 -

My Mum would love to be a nan I think. She absolutely loves kids. If we are ever at a party or wedding or something and have lost my Mum, I know she will be wherever there are babies haha.
Sounds like a busy weekend Birdie. We are off home for the weekend (to southampton ), OH is still ill off work but he reckons he is coming.0 -
Cinny, your savings idea for the laptop sounds like a good one, you should be able to get a good laptop by September/October.
Oooh, I've just thought of something else I need to do- post 2 letters to the USA. They've been sat on the coffee table all week in the hope that OH will use some initiative and take them to the post office but no such luck! My Mum is a big fan of a show called 'Psych' so I found the fan addresses of the 2 main stars and sent them a nice letter in the hope that I'll get signed photos from them so I can give them to Mummy dearest for Christmas!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. That is a lovely idea Birdie, it'll be something different and well done for thinking about it in good time!
Busy weekends for Dinah and Birdie by the looks of it! I never get anything done on a weekend as it's Special Time with OH. I quite enjoy it when he has a night out with friends or is away for the weekend or something and I have some free time to myself just to potter.
Cinny. you're definitely a little Dinah-ette, I went a bit cross eyed reading that savings post!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
